Abstract
Seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah produk dan kapasitas perusahaan, PT. XYZ yang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penghasil material bangunan memutuskan untuk melakukan transformasi ke teknologi digital. PT. XYZ memulai transformasi digital dari Departemen Engineering dengan mendigitalisasi proses perawatan dan perbaikan mesin-mesin produksi. Proses perawatan dan perbaikan ini mencakup pelaporan kegiatan, perencanaan, dan ketersediaan suku cadang. Pengembangan teknologi digital secara internal sebagai kerjasama antara Departemen Engineering dan Departemen Information Technology menghasilkan aplikasi Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Aplikasi ini dibuat untuk meningkatkan capaian key performance indicator Departemen Engineering. Namun selama penerapan aplikasi ini capaian nilai key performance indicator belum tercapai secara konsisten sehingga menimbulkan keraguan terhadap kegunaan aplikasi ini. Untuk mencari penyelesaian masalah tersebut maka penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode root cause analysis, framework for information system success, kuisioner dan analisis kompetensi personil engineering. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian ini menunjukkan ketidaktercapaian key performance indicator dari Departemen Engineering PT. XYZ disebabkan oleh klasifikasi, distribusi, dan verifikasi downtime dilakukan manual, rekapitulasi downtime yang tidak akurat, prioritas jenis mesin yang digunakan belum ada, klasifikasi jenis surat perintah kerja belum ada, serta mesin dan item perawatan belum seluruhnya terdaftar. Langkah perbaikan yang harus dilakukan terhadap penyebab ketidaktercapaian key performance indicator ini dengan penambahan sistem klasifikasi, distribusi dan verifikasi downtime, penambahan validator, simplifikasi mesin, pembuatan sistem klasifikasi jenis surat perintah kerja, pembaharuan data mesin, serta item perawatan dan jadwal maintenance harus dilakukan secara konsisten. Langkah perbaikan yang harus dilakukan terhadap penerapan computerized maintenance management system adalah penggantian perangkat jaringan, standarisasi hak akses, penambahan sistem klasifikasi distribusi secara otomatis, melengkapi nomor aset, serta pelatihan operasional CMMS.

PT. XYZ, a building materials production company, is undergoing digital transformation within the Engineering Department, aiming to digitize maintenance and repair processes for production machines. This involves reporting, planning, and managing spare parts availability. The collaborative effort between the Engineering and Information Technology Departments has led to the creation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to improve key performance indicators for the Engineering Department. However, challenges arose during the application's implementation, hindering consistent key performance indicators achievement and raising doubts about its utility. To address this, research using root cause analysis, the framework for information system success, questionnaires, and an analysis of engineering personnel competencies was conducted. Research findings identified issues such as manual downtime classification, distribution, and verification, inaccurate downtime recapitulation, absence of priority classification for machine types, lack of classification for work orders, and incomplete registration of machines and maintenance items as causes for non achievement of key performance indicators. Corrective steps include adding a classification system, automating downtime processes in the application, including validators, simplifying machines, creating a work order classification system, updating machine data, and consistently maintaining records. For effective CMMS implementation, corrective measures involve replacing network devices, standardizing access rights, adding an automated distribution classification system, completing asset numbers, and providing operational training.
