Abstract

Ketersediaan sparepart sangat penting untuk mendukung kebutuhan maintenance terutana yang berupa tindakan replacement. Mengoptimalkan parameter inventory adalah masalah utama manajemen sparepart untuk menyeimbangkan biaya inventory dan ketersediaan sparepart. Spare part bisa saja mengalami deteriorasi saat masih di dalam inventory. Masalah tersebut muncul akibat kondisi inventory yang kurang ideal dalam praktiknya, Ketika sparepart mengalami deteriorasi secara signifikan atau bahkan gagal saat masih dalam inventory, maka sparepart tersebut tidak dapat mendukung prosedur replacement dan ini dapat mengakibatkan penurunan tingkat persediaannya dan juga resiko kekurangan sparepart akan meningkat, selain dipengaruhi oleh deteriorasi, waktu tunggu (leadtime) juga sangat berpengaruh terhadap persediaan sparepart dan tindakan replacement. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini mengusulkan model joint optimization dari persediaan sparepart dan replacement dengan mempertimbangkan deteriorasi sparepart dan random delay leadtime. Kebijakan inventory yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kebijakan periodic (R, S) dan kebijakan replacement adalah block replacement. Pengembangan model ini dilakukan dengan cara mensubtusikan fungsi random delay leadtime serta fungsi deteriorasi sparepart kedalam persamaan maintenance cost, ordering cost, holding cost dan shortage cost. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa random delay leadtime berbanding lurus dengan total biaya sedangkan kecepatan deteriorasi sparepart berbanding terbalik dengan total biaya. Sehingga dengan mempertimbangkan dua aspek tersebut didapatkan interval replacement dan level inventory optimal yang dapat menimimalkan total biaya. Pada bagian akhir, percobaan numerik dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan model yang telah diusulkan.

Availability of spare parts is very important to support maintenance needs, especially in replacement action. Optimizing inventory parameters is a key parts management issue to balance inventory costs and parts availability. Spare part may deteriorated or even fails when in inventory. The problem arises due to lack of inventory in an ideal condition in practice, When a spare part is significantly deteriorated or even fails while still in inventory, the spare part cannot support the replacement procedure and this can result in a further decrease in inventory levels and also the risk of a shortage of spare parts will increase, in addition to being affected by deterioration, the lead time is also very influential on spare part inventory and replacement actions. Therefore, this study proposes a joint optimization model of spare parts inventory management and maintenance by considering spare part deterioration and random delay lead time. The inventory policy taken in this study is the periodic review (R, S) and replacement policy is block replacement. The development of this model is done by substituting the leadtime delays function and spare parts deterioration function into the maintenance cost, ordering cost, holding cost and shortage cost equations. Based on the research results, it shows that lead time delays are directly proportional to total costs, while the speed of spare parts deterioration is inversely proportional to total costs. So by considering these two aspects, optimal maintenance intervals and level inventory can be obtained which can minimize total costs. In the final part, numerical experiments are carried out to implement the proposed model.
