Abstract

Jalan raya merupakan salah satu prasarana transportasi darat yang memegang peranan penting dalam sektor perhubungan, terutama untuk kesinambungan distribusi barang dan jasa, baik dari daerah ke kota maupun ke daerah yang lainnya. Maka syarat yang penting untuk perkembangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat adalah adanya suatu sistem transportasi yang baik, bermanfaat, aman, dan nyaman. Perlu adanya metode perbaikan yang baik agar sistem transportasi menjadi baik, prasarananya menjadi aman, nyaman, dan efisien. Salah satu pedomannya adalah dengan cara overlay. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tebal lapis tambah dari metode overlay dan menentukan metode yang paling efisien untuk ruas jalan Pamekasan-Sumenep. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Pd-T-05-2005-B dan metode Software Desain Perkerasan Jalan Lentur (SDPJL). Kedua metode tersebut adalah metode overlay yang menggunakan data lendutan dari alat Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) dan Benkelman Beam (BB). Dalam penelitian ini selain data lendutan, variabel yang digunakan adalah Lalu Lintas Harian Rata-rata (LHR), road condition index (RCI), California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Temperatur, Pembebanan, modulus elastisitas, dan Poisson’s Ratio. Evaluasi kedua metode tersebut menggunakan program mekanistik KENPAVE. Pada penelitian ini, efisien yang dimaksud adalah dengan melihat repitisi beban yang dihasilkan dari perhitungan hasil regangan tekan dari program KENPAVE, kemudian dibandingkan dengan repitisi beban rencana. Repitisi beban yang sama atau lebih besar dari rencana, metode itulah yang paling efisien. Tanpa melihat dari sisi yang lain seperti sisi ekonomi ataupun yang lain. Berdasarkan analisis KENPAVE metode yang paling efisien dalam menentukan tebal lapis tambah studi kasus ruas jalan Pamekasan-Sumenep adalah metode PD-T-05-2005-B dengan hasil tebal lapisan 14 cm, AC-WC 4 cm, AC-BC 10 cm, dan repetisi beban sebesar 16.110.375.17 yang artinya perkerasan tersebut dapat menahan beban sebanyak 16.110.375.17 ESA. Rencana Anggaran Biaya untuk metode PD-T-05-2005-B sebesar Rp21.707.503.895 dan untuk Software Desain Perkerasan Jalan Lentur (SDPJL) sebesar Rp25.472.602.173.

Highways are one of the land transportation infrastructures that play an important role in the transportation sector, especially for the continuity of the distribution of goods and services, both from region to city and to other regions. So an important condition for the development and welfare of society is the existence of a good, useful, safe and comfortable transportation system. There needs to be a good repair method so that the transportation system becomes good, the infrastructure becomes safe, comfortable and efficient. One of the guidelines is by way of overlay. The purpose of this research is to determine the additional layer thickness from the overlay method and identify the most efficient method for the Pamekasan-Sumenep road section. The methods used in this research are the Pd-T-05-2005-B method and the Flexible Pavement Design Software (SDPJL) method. Both methods are overlay methods that utilize deflection data from the Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Benkelman Beam (BB) devices. In addition to deflection data, the variables used in this research include Average Daily Traffic (LHR), Road Condition Index (RCI), California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Temperature, Loading, elastic modulus, and Poisson’s Ratio. The evaluation of both methods is conducted using the mechanistic program KENPAVE. In this research, efficiency is defined by examining the load repetitions generated from the calculation of compression strain results from the KENPAVE program, then comparing them with planned load repetitions. If the load repetition is the same or greater than planned, that method is considered the most efficient, without considering other factors such as economic aspects or others. Based on the KENPAVE analysis, the most efficient method in determining the thickness of the added layer in the case study of the Pamekasan-Sumenep road section is the PD-T-05-2005-B method with results of a layer thickness of 14 cm, AC-WC 4 cm, AC-BC 10 cm, and a repetitive load of 16.110.375.17, which means the pavement can withstand a load of 16.110.375.17 ESA. The budget plan for the PD-T-05-2005-B method is IDR 21,707,503,895 and for the Flexible Road Pavement Design Software (SDPJL) IDR 25,472,602,173.
