Abstract

Pendakian gunung semakin populer di Indonesia, terutama di kalangan anak muda. Pertumbuhan minat ini, sayangnya tidak selalu diiringi oleh persiapan yang memadai, terutama karena kurangnya akses menuju sumber informasi yang kredibel dan terintegrasi. Mereka seringkali kesulitan memperoleh panduan yang komprehensif, menyebabkan kurangnya informasi yang cukup dan ketidaksiapan, peningkatan risiko keselamatan. Secara garis besar tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam perancangan ini adalah memberikan dukungan informasi kepada pendaki usia 17-24 tahun dan meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai persiapan pendakian. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan ini, metode Design Thinking digunakan dalam pendekatan masalah ini dengan lima tahap utama yaitu empatisasi, pendefinisian, ideasi, prototipe, dan pengetesan untuk dapat memberikan informasi panduan persiapan yang efektif dan fitur interaktif sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Perancangan ini menghasilkan "Kudaki," sebuah aplikasi yang memberikan informasi terpadu untuk menunjang persiapan pendakian gunung. Aplikasi ini juga bertujuan untuk membantu pendaki dalam mempersiapkan pendakian gunung yang lebih matang melalui prototipe desain antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna berisi fitur interaktif kebutuhan pengguna, mencakup informasi gunung dan jalur pendakian, rute pendakian, manajemen logistik dan peralatan pendakian, perhitungan kalori, komparasi gunung, komunitas dan konsultasi yang bisa diakses malalui platform Figma. Dengan adanya, "Kudaki" diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesiapan sebelum mendaki gunung di kalangan para pendaki muda, serta mendorong lebih banyak anak muda untuk menjalani aktivitas pendakian lebih aman.

Trekking is becoming increasingly popular in Indonesia, especially among young people. Unfortunately, this growing interest is not always accompanied by adequate preparation, primarily due to the lack of access to credible and integrated sources of information. They often struggle to obtain comprehensive guides, resulting in insufficient information and unpreparedness, thereby increasing safety risks. The overarching goal of this design is to provide information support to mountaineers aged 17-24 and enhance their knowledge of maountaineering preparation. To address this issue, the Design Thinking method is employed in approaching this problem, with five main stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, to provide effective preparation guide information and interactive features tailored to user needs. This design results in "Kudaki," an application that offers integrated information to support maountaineering preparation. The application also aims to assist mountaineers in better preparing for their expeditions through prototype interface designs and user experiences featuring interactive features tailored to user needs. These features include mountain and hiking trail information, trekking routes, logistics management and equipment, calorie calculations, mountain comparisons, community engagement, and consultations accessible through the Figma platform. With "Kudaki," it is hoped to contribute to increased readiness before trekking among young mountaineers and encourage more young people to engage in safer mountaineering activities.
