Abstract

The research focuses on developing a Cranioplasty learning media based on smartphones with a 3D virtual object display and case study information. The user experience stages include discover, explore, test, and listen. In the testing stage, usability testing was conducted using Maze and the System Usability Scale (SUS) distributed online. The testing emphasized features within the learning media. User experience evaluation analyzed efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction. Based on test results, the effectiveness score was 90%, efficiency was 75.26%, and satisfaction received an SUS score of 76. The calculation results indicate that the features in the augmented reality-based learning media application are good and acceptable. Developing learning media suitable for Cranioplasty is based on learning goals, curriculum integration, and content information. Necessary content information in the knowledge learning stage includes basic anatomy and physiology, indications, stages and surgical techniques, as well as risks and complications. Things to avoid include providing
inaccurate information, using complicated language, and excessive technical details for beginners. Considerations in AR learning media development include design elements, adequate user experience, usability testing, technical requirements, as well as updates and maintenance. Design elements encompass user interface (UI), content relevance, realism and visualization, as well as interactivity and engagement.
