Abstract

The integration of Industry 5.0 (I5.0) into the supply chain addresses manufacturing obstacles. Effective supply chain management is crucial in facing challenges and opportunities in the industry, especially with the implementation of Industry 5.0 (I5.0). Although I5.0 offers solutions to overcome bottlenecks and capacity limitations in manufacturing, the placement of technology as an aid rather than a substitute for human roles remains problematic in its implementation. Bibliometric analysis is utilized to explore the thematic landscape of research incorporating the implementation of Industry 5.0 concepts and its impact on the supply chain. A rising trend in I5.0 publications in the supply chain has been observed since 2018, with China contributing significantly and Sustainability (Switzerland) being the most active journal. The Human-centric Supply chain theme underscores the role of workers, incorporating ergonomic principles and addressing human-machine interaction risks. Future research is recommended to focus on Resilience Supply chain and further explore AI and cobot collaboration to alleviate concerns about the technological replacement of human jobs.
