Abstract

The Ijen Volcano geothermal area which is included (Geothermal Working Area / GWA) is one of the geothermal potential areas located in Blawan-Ijen (Ijen Volcano), which is geographically located at 7°59'9"S - 114°10 '32"E in Kalianyar village, Sempol District, Bondowoso Regency with surface manifestations in the form of hot springs which are thought to be geothermal sources. This research uses the gravity method with TOPEX secondary data. The data is then processed to obtain Complete Bouguer anomalies which are then separated using Butterworth and Bandpass filters to obtain regional and residual anomalies. Complete Bouguer Anomalies are used as input for 3D inversion modeling. Complete Bouguer Anomaly (ABL) in the Ijen Volcano Complex area has a value of 18 – 153.5 g/cm3. Then for the 3D inversion results, it was found that there were intrusive igneous rocks It is estimated to be a heat source with a high density value of between 2.72 – 3 g/cm3 in the southern and eastern parts with a depth of >2 km, while low density rocks found in several places are interpreted as a fault zone with a density value of between 1.9 – 2.17 g/cm3. Both show the presence of a geological structure in the form of a crater on the volcanic cone, indicating the presence of a heat source in the southern part of the caldera. Other geological structures in the form of faults or fractures are the main factors forming secondary permeability so that it can be estimated that there is a reservoir area
