Abstract

Pengujian tekuk pelat berpenegar pada struktur kapal berbahan aluminium merupakan pengembangan dan evaluasi kekuatan material untuk memastikan keandalan dan kinerja
struktur kapal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban maksimal dan perilaku runtuh (collapse) dari pelat aluminium datar berpenegar. Untuk mengetahui hal tersebut, dilakukan eksperimen pada 4 spesimen berbahan aluminium yang biasa digunakan pada kapal, yaitu aluminium alloy 5083. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi kekuatan dan
ketahanan dari pelat aluminium berpenegar. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan beban maksimal yang dapat ditahan oleh spesimen pelat datar dengan dua penegar sebesar 15.100 – 15.825 Kg atau setara dengan 15,1 – 15,8 ton. Selain itu, didapatkan kondisi runtuh dari spesimen yang dilihat dari deflection pada masing-masing spesimen, dimana rata-rata deflection adalah 10,49

Buckling testing of stiffened plates on aluminum ship structures is the development and evaluation of material strength to ensure the reliability and performance of ship structures. This study aims to determine the maximum load and collapse behavior of the stiffened flat aluminum
plate. To find out this, experiments were carried out on 4 specimens made of aluminum commonly used on ships, namely aluminum alloy 5083. The data obtained were analyzed to
evaluate the strength and durability of the stiffened aluminum plates. From this study, the maximum load that can be withstood by a flat plate specimen with two stiffeners is 15,100 -15,825 Kg or equivalent to 15.1 - 15.8 tons. In addition, the collapse condition of the specimen is obtained as seen from the deflection of each specimen, where the average deflection is 10.49 mm.
