Abstract

Sektor bangunan menjadi salah satu kontributor terbesar dalam penghasilan emisi gas rumah kaca. Permintaan energi final global dari bangunan mencapai 31% dari total permintaan energi global, dan sebagian besar dari bangunan hunian. Selain itu, terdapat tren permintaan energi pendingin, listrik, dan digitalisasi. Untuk mengurangi tren permintaan tersebut, dapat dilakukan mitigasi melalui pengadopsian teknologi yang hemat energi dan beralih ke energi terbarukan. Dalam penerapan energi terbarukan pada bangunan terdapat beberapa halangan atau penghambat dalam proses integrasinya pada bangunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kriteria keputusan dalam pemilihan alternatif energi terbarukan pada bangunan dan membangun sistem atau model keputusan untuk pemilihan Renewable Energy Technology (RET). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei dan menggunakan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Kuisioner dibagikan kepada para pakar yang terlibat dalam integrasi energi terbarukan pada bangunan. Selanjutnya, dilakukan analisis kriteria keputusan dalam pemilihan alternatif RET untuk integrasi energi terbarukan pada bangunan dan membangun struktur hirarki kriteria keputusannya. Selanjutnya dengan menggunakan kriteria keputusan sebagai atribut fungsi dan variabel life cycle cost sebagai atribut biaya, dilakukan analisis simulasi pengambilan keputusan dengan value-based decision. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian, kriteria keputusan dalam pemilihan alternatif RET untuk integrasi energi terbarukan pada bangunan adalah efektivitas, kapasitas luaran, kapasitas sumber energi, periode waktu, peluang kerja, manfaat sosial, keberlanjutan, dan daya tahan. Selanjutnya, decision-maker memberikan opini dan keputusannya dalam pembobotan kriteria dan alternatif RET. Hasil analisis pengambilan keputusan oleh building manager dan mechanical electrical supervisor adalah solar photovoltaic. Di sisi lain, hasil keputusan dalam pemilihan alternatif RET dari developer adalah biomass boiler dan keputusan dari chief engineer adalah biomass – photovoltaic.

The building sector has become one of the most significant contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions. The final global energy demand from buildings has reached 31% of the total global energy demand, most of which is from residential buildings. On top of that, there are upcoming cooling, electricity, and digitalization energy demand trends. In order to minimize those energy demand trends, mitigation can be done through the adoption of energy-saving technology and transitioning to renewable energy. In implementing renewable energy in buildings, there are several barriers or hindering factors in the integration process. This study aims to analyse decision criteria in selecting renewable energy alternatives on buildings and to build a system or decision model for Renewable Energy Technology (RET) options. This research was conducted using a survey method and a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The questionnaire was distributed to experts involved in the integration of renewable energy in buildings. Next, an analysis of the decision criteria was carried out in selecting RET alternatives for integrating renewable energy in buildings and building a hierarchical structure of decision criteria. Next, using decision criteria as function attributes and life cycle cost variables as cost attributes, a value-based decision simulation analysis was carried out.
Based on the results of the research analysis, the decision criteria in selecting RET alternatives for integrating renewable energy in buildings are effectiveness, output capacity, energy source capacity, time period, employment opportunities, social benefits, sustainability and durability. Next, the decision-maker provides his opinion and decision in weighing the RET criteria and alternatives. The result of the analysis of decision-making by the building manager and mechanical electrical supervisor is solar photovoltaic. On the other hand, the decision result in selecting the RET alternative from the developer is biomass boiler and the decision from the chief engineer is biomass – photovoltaic.
