Abstract

Pabrik Asam Oksalat ini dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat indonesia akan Asam Oksalat. Asam Oksalat merupakan bahan kimia yang digunakan sebagai bahan pemucat pada industri penyamakan kulit, bahan pembersih logam, pemutih pada industri tekstil dan industri pulp. Produk Asam Olcsalat dibuat dari kulit pisang dengan proses sebagai berikut: (1) Tahap Pre-Treatment, karbohidrat (kulit pisang) dihidrolisa menjadi glukosa; (2) Tahap Proses Reaksi, glukosa dioksidasi menjadi asam oksalat; (3) Tahap Pemurnian, asam oksalat dimurnikan menjadi 99.8% kristal asam oksalat dihidrat. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah asam oksalat dihidrat yang mengandung 71,42% berat asam oksalat anhidrat dan 28,38% berat air. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah Kulit Pisang. Dengan kapasitas produksi 14842 kglhari, dibutuhkan kulit pisang dengan kapasitas 50.000 kg/hari. Pabrik as am oksalat ini direncanakan beroperasi kontinyu selama 24 jamlhari dan 330 hari operasi/tahun. This Oxalic Acid Factory is designed to meet the needs of the Indonesian people for Oxalic Acid. Oxalic acid is a chemical used as a bleaching agent in the leather tanning industry, a metal cleaning agent, a bleach in the textile industry and the pulp industry. Olcsolic Acid products are made from banana peels using the following process: (1) Pre-Treatment Stage, carbohydrates (banana peels) are hydrolyzed into glucose; (2) Reaction Process Stage, glucose is oxidized to oxalic acid; (3) Purification Stage, oxalic acid is purified into 99.8% oxalic acid dihydrate crystals. The resulting product is oxalic acid dihydrate which contains 71.42% by weight of anhydrous oxalic acid and 28.38% by weight of water. The raw material used is Banana Peel. With a production capacity of 14,842 kgl day, banana peels are needed with a capacity of 50,000 kg/day. This oxalic acid plant is planned to operate continuously for 24 hours a day and 330 operational days/year. The utility requirements for this oxalic acid plant are 66 m3/day of sanitary water, 3898,497 m3/day of water...
