Abstract

Watches are accessories that are often used by someone in their daily activities. There is an increase in the function of watches in modern times, including features that can make the watch connected to other devices that are useful for picking up calls, replying to messages, and monitoring the user's heart rate. This is common for devices that we usually know as SmartWatch. This research was carried out to improve the function of the watch in the medical field. The MLX90614 and MAX30100 sensors will support a user's body temperature and oxygen saturation measurement feature. Both sensors are able to measure a person's body temperature and oxygen saturation with high accuracy. The average error value for conventional equipment is 0.23% (±0.08°C) and 0.52% (±0.49%). The figure shows that the sensor is feasible to use. In addition, a monitoring feature is added that is supported by ESP8266 based on the Internet of Things, so that the data can be accessed through a database system. This increase in function is expected to be useful in the future to detect various symptoms of a disease in a person, one of which is Covid-19
