Abstract

Laporan ini membahas implementasi metode analisis sentimen pada berita dari website Wikipedia menggunakan teknik BeautifulSoup. Studi ini dilakukan di PT Pamapersada Nusantara sebagai bagian dari Kerja Praktik magang. Tujuan utama adalah untuk menggali persepsi publik terhadap topik tertentu dengan memanfaatkan data dari sumber terbuka seperti Wikipedia. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan ekstraksi teks dari halaman website menggunakan BeautifulSoup dan penerapan algoritma analisis sentimen untuk mengevaluasi opini yang terkandung dalam teks tersebut. Hasil analisis dapat memberikan wawasan berharga bagi perusahaan dalam memahami respon masyarakat terhadap berbagai isu yang berkaitan dengan industri mereka. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya teknologi pemrosesan bahasa alami dalam memperoleh wawasan yang relevan dari sumber informasi daring yang luas seperti Wikipedia. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik dan strategi komunikasi yang lebih efektif bagi perusahaan. Kesimpulannya, analisis sentimen berbasis website ini memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi pemahaman mendalam tentang pandangan masyarakat terhadap topik tertentu, yang pada gilirannya dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengarahkan strategi mereka secara lebih tepat.
