Abstract

Mesin pengais garam adalah mesin yang dipergunakan untuk mengais garam, mesin ini adalah multifungsi dimana selain mengais garam, juga berjungsi untuk memangur dan meratakan meja garam. Langkah awal dalam perencanaan alat ini adalah dengan melakukan survey di tambak garam,Sumenep,Madura kemudian merancang desain mesin pengais garam sesuai kebutuhan. Langkah selanjutnya adalah merencanakan sistem pengais dan menghitung elemen mesin pada alat yang tengah dirancang, serta berapa daya mesin yang dibutuhkan. Dari perhitungan didapatkan bahwa kapasitas dari mesin pengais garam ini dapat mencapai 15,16 ton/jam, dibandingkan dengan pemanenan secara sederhana yang hanya mencapai 12 ton/jam

A salt scavenger machine is a machine that is used to scavenge salt. This machine is multifunctional and apart from scavenging salt, it also functions to level and level the salt table. The first step in planning this tool is to conduct a survey in salt ponds, Sumenep, Madura and then design a salt scavenger machine design according to needs. The next step is to plan the scavenging system and calculate the machine elements in the tool being designed, as well as how much machine power is needed. From calculations it is found that the capacity of this salt scavenging machine can reach 15.16 tons/hour, compared to simple harvesting which only reaches 12 tons/hour.
