Abstract
Tugas akhir ini berdasarkan salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi di PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. Permasalahan yang diselesaikan pada penelitian tugas akhir ini berkaitan dengan pengelasan di PT Pupuk Kaltim, demi meningkatan efisiensi waktu produksi dan perbaikan di PT Pupuk Kaltim. Pada tugas akhir ini menggunakan Internet of Things sebagai metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut di PT Pupuk Kaltim. Permasalahan yang diselesaikan diantaranya mengetahui keberadaan posisi mesin las diesel dilokasi pabrik seluas 443 hektar, mengetahui mesin las diesel apakah hidup atau mati tanpa harus mengecek ke lapangan, kemudian dapat menyalakan dan mematikan mesin las diesel dari jarak jauh. Selain itu, perbaikan mesin las diesel juga dapat dipantau melalui aplikasi monitoring berbasis website. Teknologi Internet of Things(IoT) yang digunakan pada tugas akhir ini adalah mikrokontroller esp32, sensor gps, dan juga sensor relay yang dirancang dalam bentuk prototipe alat sehingga dapat dihubungkan pada mesin las diesel. kemudian dilakukan uji coba pada hasil implementasi alat tersebut. sehingga dapat meningkatkan keamanan dan fungsionalitas mesin las diesel di PT Pupuk kaltim. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini berupa aplikasi monitoring mesin las diesel berbasis website. Aplikasi monitoring ini diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman web. Dan untuk memprogram mikrokontroller digunakan bahasa pemrograman C menggunakan arduino IDE. Sehingga dapat terkoneksi dengan aplikasi melalui jaringan Pupuk Kaltim. Kemudian dapat mengirim dan memperbarui data pada database MySQL melalui server, dan dapat dimonitoring melalui aplikasi berbasis website.

This final assignment is based on one of the problems that occurred at PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. The problem solved in this final research project is related to welding at PT Pupuk Kaltim, in order to increase the efficiency of production and repair time at PT Pupuk Kaltim. In this final assignment, the Internet of Things is used as the method used to solve these problems at PT Pupuk Kaltim. The problems solved include knowing the position of the diesel welding machine at the 443 hectare factory location, knowing whether the diesel welding machine is on or off without having to check in the field, then being able to turn the diesel welding machine on and off remotely. Apart from that, diesel welding machine repairs can also be monitored via a website-based monitoring application. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology used in this final project is an ESP32 microcontroller, GPS sensor, and also a relay sensor which is designed in the form of a prototype tool so that it can be connected to a diesel welding machine. then a trial was carried out on the results of implementing the tool. so that it can improve the safety and functionality of diesel welding machines at PT Pupuk Kaltim. The result of this final project is a website-based diesel welding machine monitoring application. This monitoring application is implemented using a web programming language. And to program the microcontroller, the C programming language is used using the Arduino IDE. So it can be connected to the application via the Pupuk Kaltim network. Then you can send and update data to the MySQL database via the server, and can be monitored via a website-based application.
