Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan kinerja, banyak perusahaan manufaktur yang menerapkan lean manufacturing. Lean manufacturing pada hakekatnya adalah pendekatan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dengan mengurangi berbagai macam pemborosan pada lantai produksi PT Schneider Electric Indonesia dengan lokasi pabrik di East Jakarta Industrial Complex (EJIP) Cikarang, Bekasi Jawa Barat merupakan pabrik yang meproduksi beberapa peralatan distribusi listrik, dan salah satu hasil produksinya adalah panel listrik tegangan menengah (20.000 Volt) type SM6. Implementasi Lean Manufacturing dimulai sejak tahun 2005 tetapi belum pemah dilakukan evaluasi kinerja secara menyeluruh. Evaluasi diperlukan untuk mengukur sejauh mana keberhasilan mengurangi pemborosan dalam proses produksi, hal-hal apa yang sudah dikerjakan dengan baik dan hal-hal apa yang masih perlu perbaikan untuk mencapai kinerja maksimum. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan evaluasi dalam berbagai aspek pada implementasi lean manufacturing. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah model audit yang didasarkan atas model audit SPS (Schneider Production System). Evaluasi ini diharapkan bisa menjadi dasar dalam merumuskan beberapa masukan untuk perbaikan implementasi lean manufacturing di masa mendatang

To improve performance, many manufacturing companies implement lean manufacturing. Lean manufacturing is essentially an approach to increasing efficiency by reducing various kinds of waste on the production floor of PT Schneider Electric Indonesia with a factory location in the East Jakarta Industrial Complex (EJIP) Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java, a factory that produces several electrical distribution equipment, and one of the results The production is medium voltage (20,000 Volt) type SM6 electrical panels. The implementation of Lean Manufacturing began in 2005 but has never carried out a comprehensive performance evaluation. Evaluation is needed to measure the extent of success in reducing waste in the production process, what things have been done well and what things still need improvement to achieve maximum performance. In this research, various aspects of lean manufacturing implementation will be carried out. The approach used is an audit model based on the SPS (Schneider Production System) audit model. It is hoped that this evaluation can become the basis for formulating several inputs for improving the implementation of lean manufacturing in the future
