Abstract
MesinPad Order
MesinPad2 31 - 21
MesinPad 3 22
MesinPad 5 14-11
MesinPad 6 13-12
MesinPad 7 - 41-32

In this research regarding production scheduling, a case example was taken from PT. "X", a company with global scale and operating in the paper industry and paper derivative products. The problem raised is regarding production scheduling for the job order production system and it is carried out in a hatch manner, where there is a sequence of production processes and there are several machines that can carry out a particular order. Production scheduling aims to reduce production waiting time (idle time). From this problem, a mathematical model will be created in the form of integer linear programming. This mathematical model consists of an objective function to minimize the total completion time of all orders. Apart from that, there are four function constraints, which include: constraints on timeliness of delivery, constraints on preliminary relations, constraints on order-order conflicts at the Pad Machine work center, and alternative constraints on the selection of Pad Machines. The mathematical model is then completed using computer software. Of the 5 Pad Machines and 9 orders that were tested to be completed using this program, it turned out that the optimal solution was obtained, where the production schedule provided the fastest completion time with idle time because the machine set up was only 28 hours, and all the required constraints were met. while the assignment of pad machines is as follows
Pad Order Machine
MachinePad2 31 - 21
MachinePad 3 22
MachinePad 5 14-11
Pad Machine 6 13-12
MachinePad 7 - 41-32
