Abstract

Bali possesses a unique market for the printing industry, driven by the tourism sector's growth, which creates a stable demand for printing services. One printing company in Bali that exemplifies this is CV Bali Jaya Utama. CV Bali Jaya Utama operates on a product-oriented business model, a category within the Product-Service Systems (PSS) framework. Currently, CV Bali Jaya Utama is in the process of revamping its operations after a hiatus from 2020 to mid-2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Presently, CV Bali Jaya Utama employs four subcontractors from other printing businesses to assist with printing processes due to its limited machinery. In addition to engaging in value co-creation with customers, CV Bali Jaya Utama involves several stakeholders in its business processes, including subcontractors and suppliers for raw materials. Therefore, it is essential to integrate the needs of all stakeholders to ensure the business operations run efficiently. This research aims to concretize the multi-stakeholder requirements of CV Bali Jaya Utama by clustering the design structure of the Product-Service System (PSS) business model. The study will begin with mapping the existing business model using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), collecting data through semi-structured interviews, followed by mapping the Flow Model and identifying each stakeholder's needs, constructing the IDEF0 model to identify functions and entities, and ultimately developing a Multi-Domain Matrix (MDM) model. Based on the results of this study, 18 requirements from multistakeholder of CV Bali Jaya Utama were identified, supported by 16 functions and 27 entities. Through clustering using the Multi-Domain Matrix (MDM) method, four groups of requirements were identified, business model-related requirements (RC1), design-related requirements (RC2), product and service quality-related requirements (RC3), and product and service function-related requirements (RC4). Additionally, six groups for functions were identified, partner management (FC1), resource enhancement (FC2), supplier management (FC3), customer satisfaction improvement (FC4), company system management (FC5), and production process optimization (FC6). Furthermore, eight groups for entities were identified, machinery (EC1), administrative documentation (EC2), stakeholder qualifications (EC3), human resources (EC4), production enhancement (EC5), HR capabilities (EC6), brand image (EC7), and delivery (EC8). The resulting business model development includes the addition of design and material consulting services and the extension of delivery services by CV Bali Jaya Utama.
