Abstract

Laporan ini berfokus pada analisis umur bearing (7307 BECBM) pada pompa Glutamic Acid 15 (TAG NO. PP.222.13) di plant recovery - OB di PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi umur bearing pada pompa tersebut. Proses produksi di PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia melibatkan beberapa tahapan penting seperti fermentasi, recovery, refinery, dan pengemasan, di mana pemeliharaan mesin seperti pompa, kompresor, dan agitator memainkan peran penting. Dalam pelaksanaan magang, penulis ditempatkan di divisi Teknik bagian Maintenance dan bertugas melakukan perbaikan dan pemeliharaan mesin. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi metode pemeliharaan yang diterapkan pada pompa dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan umur bearing serta efisiensi operasi mesin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi pengamatan langsung, analisis data pemeliharaan, dan studi literatur terkait. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti kualitas pelumasan, beban operasional, dan kondisi lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap umur bearing. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup peningkatan program pemeliharaan preventif, penggunaan pelumas berkualitas tinggi, dan pengaturan beban operasi yang optimal.
Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan umur bearing pada pompa di industri, khususnya di PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia.

This report focuses on the analysis of the lifespan of the bearing (7307 BECBM) in the Glutamic Acid 15 pump (TAG NO. PP.222.13) in the recovery plant - OB at PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia. The research aims to identify and analyze the factors affecting the bearing lifespan in this pump. The production process at PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia involves several critical stages such as fermentation, recovery, refinery, and packaging, where the maintenance of machinery like pumps, compressors, and agitators plays a vital role. During the internship, the author was placed in the Technical Maintenance division and was responsible for the repair and maintenance of machines. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the maintenance methods applied to the pump and provide recommendations to enhance the bearing lifespan and operational efficiency of the machine. The research methods used include direct observation, maintenance data analysis, and a literature review. The results of this study indicate that factors such as lubrication quality, operational load, and environmental conditions significantly impact the bearing lifespan. Recommendations provided include improving preventive maintenance programs, using high-quality lubricants, and optimizing operational load settings. This research is expected to contribute to improving operational efficiency and bearing lifespan in industrial pumps, particularly at PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia.
