Abstract
Urbanisasi dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas lingkungan, kenaikan suhu, dan konsumsi energi bangunan. Peningkatan suhu perkotaan mempengaruhi kenyamanan termal, konsumsi energi, dan minat masyarakat untuk mengunjungi area publik. Fasilitas umum publik, seperti ruang terbuka hijau (RTH), memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem kota. Evaluasi environmental ergonomic dan kelengkapan pada taman kota di Surabaya menjadi relevan untuk memastikan kenyamanan pengunjung menghadapi perubahan iklim dan program 1000 taman. Studi ini membandingkan dua kategori taman perkotaan berdasar aspek desain, fasilitas yang tersedia, serta aktivitas yang umum dilakukan oleh pengunjung dalam memanfaatkan ruang taman tersebut, yaitu taman aktif dan taman pasif. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan dalam dari segi environmental ergonomic antara Taman Prestasi (aktif) dan Taman Surya (pasif). Tujuannya adalah memberikan pandangan faktor evaluasi kenyamanan taman sebagai dasar pertimbangan untuk melakukan perbaikan taman supaya mampu berfungsi optimal. Data yang diambil adalah data objektif (menggunakan alat laboratorium dan checklist) serta data subjektif (kuesioner perspektif 12 pengunjung dengan desain DoE counterbalanced). Berdasarkan hasil olah data, diperoleh Taman Prestasi memiliki persentase kenyamanan environmental ergonomic lebih baik dibandingkan Taman Surya. Hal ini juga berlaku untuk persentase kenyamanan taman berdasar fasilitas penunjang fungsi taman. Usulan perbaikan Taman Prestasi lebih menekankan pada maintenance, kebersihan dan kerapian taman. Kemudian untuk Taman Surya, pihak taman disarankan menambahkan peneduh di area taman (membantu dalam meningkatkan kenyaman faktor environmental ergonomic) serta penambahan beberapa fasilitas penunjang fungsi taman.

Urbanization can result in a decrease in environmental quality, rising temperatures, and energy consumption of buildings. The increase in urban temperatures affects thermal comfort, energy consumption, and people's interest in visiting public areas. Public facilities, such as green open spaces (RTH), have an important role in maintaining the balance of the city's ecosystem. Evaluation of environmental ergonomics and completeness in city parks in Surabaya is relevant to ensure the comfort of visitors in the face of climate change and the 1000 parks program. This study compares two categories of urban parks based on design aspects, available facilities, and activities that are commonly carried out by visitors in utilizing the park space, namely active gardens and passive gardens. The results of the preliminary study show significant differences in terms of environmental ergonomics between Taman Prestasi (active) and Taman Surya (passive). The goal is to provide a view of the evaluation factor of park comfort as a basis for consideration to make garden repairs so that it can function optimally. The data collected were objective data (using laboratory tools and checklists) and subjective data (perspective questionnaire of 12 visitors with a counterbalanced DoE design). Based on the results of data processing, it was obtained that Taman Prestasi has a better percentage of environmental ergonomic comfort than Taman Surya. This also applies to the percentage of park comfort based on the facilities that support the park's functions. The proposed improvement of Taman Prestasi emphasizes more on maintenance, cleanliness and neatness of the park. After that, for Taman Surya, the park is recommended to add shade in the park area (helping to increase the comfort of environmental ergonomic factors) as well as the addition of several facilities to support the park's functions.
