Abstract
PT Pertamina sebagai BUMN yang bergerak di bidang energi, dihadapkan pada tantangan pemenuhan permintaan Pertalite yang terus meningkat. Ledakan di RU VI Balongan pada tahun 2021 dan lambatnya pembangunan tangki baru mengakibatkan keterbatasan kapasitas blending Pertalite. Hal ini berakibat pada keterlambatan pengiriman dan potensi kerugian penjualan. Pada proses blending Pertalite ditemukan waste kritis, yaitu reblending yang termasuk ke dalam defect, kertas kerja salah, dan minyak tidak sesuai rasio. Pada penelitian ini, penulis menerapkan pendekatan Lean Manufacturing guna mengidentifikasi dan mereduksi waste pada proses blending Pertalite. Terdapat beberapa tahap pada lean manufacturing diantaranya, menyusun Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Process Activity Mapping (PAM) untuk memetakan alur proses produksi dan mengidentifikasi waste yang ada, menentukan critical waste menggunakan metode Genba Shikumi, menganalisis akar penyebab waste dengan fishbone diagram dan five why’s. Selanjutnya adalah menyusun Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) untuk menentukan nilai severity, occurrence, serta detection pada setiap waste dan didapatkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN). Nilai RPN dari hasil FMEA dievaluasi dengan metode fuzzy untuk mendapatkan nilai fuzzy RPN dan digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas saran alternatif perbikan. Tiga masalah yang terpilih adalah maintenance equipment blending tidak sesuai jadwal karena standar penjadwalan tidak diikuti, kurangnya petunjuk dan penjelasan pada kertas kerja, dan kontaminasi pada flowmeter. Didapatkan bahwa saran alternatif perbaikan untuk fuzzy RPN tertinggi dan ketiga adalah sama yaitu membuat laporan maintenance dan checklist maintenance. Sedangkan saran alternatif perbaikan untuk peringkat kedua fuzzy RPN berupa perubahan format kertas kerja dengan memanfaatkan fitur excel yaitu pemberian comment dan pewarnaan pada cell sebagai petunjuk atau keterangan.

PT Pertamina, a state-owned company in the energy sector, faces the challenge of meeting the increasing demand for Pertalite. The 2021 explosion at RU VI Balongan and slow construction of new tanks limited Pertalite blending capacity, resulting in late deliveries and potential sales losses. Critical waste was identified in the Pertalite blending process, including reblending due to defects, incorrect working papers, and oil that did not meet the specified ratio. This study applies Lean Manufacturing to identify and reduce this waste. There are several stages in lean manufacturing, including compiling Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping (PAM) to map the production process flow and identify existing waste, determining critical waste using the Genba Shikumi method, analyzing the root causes of waste with fishbone diagrams and five why's. The next step is to compile a Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine the severity, occurrence, and detection values for each waste and obtain the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value. The RPN value from the FMEA results was evaluated using the fuzzy method to obtain the fuzzy RPN value and used to determine the priority of alternative repair suggestions. The three selected problems were unscheduled equipment blending maintenance because scheduling standards were not followed, lack of instructions and explanations in the worksheet, and contamination of the flowmeter. It was found that the alternative improvement suggestions for the highest and third fuzzy RPN were the same, namely making a maintenance report and maintenance checklist. While the alternative improvement suggestion for the second rank fuzzy RPN was in the form of changing the worksheet format by utilizing the excel feature, namely providing comments and coloring in cells as instructions or information.
