Abstract
Penelitian ini melakukan simulasi static structural pada anchor drum, komponen penting dalam sistem cable reel pada Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) crane. Anchor drum berfungsi mengamankan ujung kabel dan mencegah pergerakan yang tidak diinginkan selama operasi crane. Menggunakan perangkat lunak CAD untuk pemodelan dan FEA untuk analisis, hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa anchor drum memiliki ketahanan memadai terhadap beban yang diuji, dengan tegangan maksimum di bawah batas kekuatan material dan deformasi dalam batas toleransi yang dapat diterima. Penelitian ini meningkatkan pemahaman tentang kinerja anchor drum, memberikan dasar untuk peningkatan desain dan keandalan sistem, serta membantu mengurangi biaya pemeliharaan dan memperpanjang umur pakai komponen.

This study conducted a static structural simulation on the anchor drum, a critical component in the cable reel system of a Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) crane. The anchor drum secures the cable end and prevents unwanted movement during crane operation. Using CAD software for modeling and FEA for analysis, the results indicate that the anchor drum has adequate resistance to the tested loads, with maximum stress below the material strength limit and deformation within acceptable tolerance limits. This research enhances understanding of the anchor drum's performance, provides a basis for improving system design and reliability, and helps reduce maintenance costs and extend the component's service life.
