Abstract

Subsea hose ialah jenis marine hose yang sangat critical mengalami kegagalan. Diantara berbagai macam konfigurasi subsea hose, tipe chinese lantern memiliki risiko kegagalan yang lebih besar dibandingkan tipe hose lainnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini melakukan studi respons subsea hose tipe chinese lantern dan steep wave pada kondisi accidental limit state yang umumnya disebut dengan analisis one-line damaged. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap pengaruh dari arah pembebanan in-flow, dan crossflow, dengan tiga kondisi lingkungan meliputi: collinear, non-collinear 1, dan non-collinear 2. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, semakin besar penekukan hose maka gaya tarik hose pada end SPM akan semakin kecil dan pada end PLEM akan semakin besar. Semakin menekuk hose maka momen puntir, gaya geser, dan momen bending juga semakin besar, sedangkan minimum bending radius akan semakin kecil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa chinese lantern 1 ialah jenis hose yang paling critical mengalami kegagalan dibandingkan hose lainnya berdasarkan peningkatan gaya dan momen yang terjadi.

Subsea hose is a type of marine hose that is very critical to failure. Among the various subsea hose configurations, the chinese lantern type has a greater risk of failure than other hose types. Therefore, this study investigates the response of Chinese lantern and steep wave subsea hose under accidental limit state conditions, commonly referred to as one-line damaged analysis. This study was conducted on the effect of in-flow, and crossflow loading direction, with three environmental conditions including: Collinear, non-collinear 1, and non-collinear 2. Based on the analysis results, the greater the bending of the hose, the smaller the hose pulling force at the SPM end and the greater the PLEM end. The more the hose is bent, the greater the torsional moment, shear force, and bending moment, while the minimum bending radius will be smaller. The results showed that chinese lantern 1 is the most critical hose to reach failure compared to other type of hose based on the increasing of forces and moments that happened.
