Abstract

PT. Manufacture specializes in transforming stainless steel sheets into modular household furniture. Despite its long history, the company lacks a standard lead time for production processes. The current lead time set by Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) is too lenient, causing delays in order acceptance and slower task completion. Process mining analyzes activity log data, revealing the actual processes and time requirements across divisions. Results show significant differences between planned lead times and those according to Apromore. For example, the Marking division's planned lead time is 6 days, while Apromore's is 1.19 days, a difference of 4.81 days. Overall, the planned total lead time is 38 days, whereas Apromore's is 24.33 days, reducing by 13.67 days. Some divisions, like PPIC and FGRM, have longer lead times in Apromore. Major bottlenecks are identified in the Bending, Assembling, and Finishing divisions, each taking over five days to complete. The typical process route involves PPIC creating a WO, planning, and getting approval from the Co-SPV, followed by DN approvals also handled by the Co-SPV. This ensures both planning and DN are typically approved by the Co-SPV, who is more frequently present in the field. The SPV handles administrative tasks and meetings in the morning, and the Operational Manager steps in for approvals only when neither the SPV nor the Co-SPV is available. This approach ensures efficient and timely approvals, aligning with operational requirements and personnel availability.

PT. Manufacture mengkhususkan diri dalam mengubah lembaran stainless steel menjadi furnitur rumah modular. Meskipun memiliki sejarah panjang, perusahaan ini tidak memiliki lead time standar untuk proses produksinya. Lead time saat ini yang ditetapkan oleh Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) terlalu longgar, menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam penerimaan pesanan dan penyelesaian tugas yang lebih lambat. Process mining digunakan untuk menganalisis data log aktivitas, mengungkapkan proses dan kebutuhan waktu yang sebenarnya di seluruh divisi. Hasilnya menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara lead time yang direncanakan dan yang sesuai dengan Apromore.
