Abstract

Pembangunan boezem merupakan strategi Kota Surabaya dalam pengendali banjir dan peningkatan area tampungan resapan air berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Surabaya Nomor 12 Tahun 2014 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kota Surabaya Tahun 2014-2034. Boezem Kalidami merupakan salah satu boezem Kota Surabaya yang digunakan sebagai pengendali banjir. Boezem ini dapat mengalami pendangkalan akibat padatan yang mengendap dari air limbah domestik yang masuk ke boezem. Hal ini menyebabkan penurunan volume Boezem Kalidami. Pelaksanaan pengerukan lumpur sebagai upaya pemeliharaan boezem belum didasarkan pada akumulasi lumpur terendapkan dan sebaran sedimennya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghitung laju degradasi, laju akumulasi lumpur, serta sebaran sedimen yang terdapat dalam boezem. Penelitian meliputi analisis laju degradasi, total solid, dan total suspended solid. Sampel terdiri dari sampel lumpur untuk mengukur laju degradasi dan sampel air boezem untuk menghitung akumulasi lumpur serta persebaran sedimen. Pengambilan sampel lumpur dilakukan satu kali di inlet, tengah, dan outlet boezem. Laju degradasi lumpur dianalisis menggunakan reaktor selama 25 hari dengan analisis gravimetri dan pendekatan kinetika reaksi. Pengambilan sampel air untuk analisis laju akumulasi lumpur dilakukan sekali sehari selama 7 hari berturut-turut. Laju akumulasi lumpur dihitung berdasarkan perbedaan konsentrasi total solid di inlet dan outlet boezem. Pengambilan sampel air untuk pemetaan persebaran sedimen dilakukan 3 kali seminggu dengan waktu 2 hari sekali. Titik sampling untuk pemetaan persebaran sedimen berjumlah 15 titik berdasarkan transek dengan panjang dan lebar berukuran 60 m x 30 m tiap transek. Hasil dari analisis total suspended solid dari tiap transek akan dipetakan persebarannya menggunakan software Surfer 23. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa laju degradasi anaerob lumpur pada boezem Kalidami sebesar 0,0005/hari yang terjadi mengikuti pendekatan persamaan kinetika orde satu. Lumpur menempati 1,65% volume tampungan efektif boezem Kalidami dengan laju akumulasi lumpur senilai 1780,484 m³/tahun. Persebaran sedimen boezem Kalidami berdasarkan konsentrasi total suspended solid mengalami penurunan dari inlet menuju outlet. Kondisi tersebut terjadi disebabkan oleh jenis aliran berdasarkan bilangan Reynold, kecepatan pengendapan, kecepatan aliran pada tiap titik transek, pengerukan, dan aktivitas pemompaan. Kecepatan pengendapan lebih besar daripada kecepatan aliran air sehingga padatan lebih banyak tersedimentasi di bagian inlet boezem

Boezem development is a strategy for the City of Surabaya to control floods and increase water absorption storage areas based on Surabaya City Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2014 concerning Surabaya City Regional Spatial Planning for 2014-2034. The Kalidami Boezem is one of the Surabaya City boezems which is used to control floods. This boezem can experience shallowing due to solids that settle from domestic wastewater entering the boezem. This causes a decrease in the volume of Boezem Kalidami. The implementation of mud dredging as an effort to maintain the boezem is not yet based on the accumulation of deposited mud and the distribution of the sediment. Therefore, this research was carried out to calculate the degradation rate, mud accumulation rate, and the distribution of sediment contained in the boezem. Research includes analysis of degradation rate, total solids, and total suspended solids. The samples consisted of mud samples to measure the rate of degradation and boezem water samples to calculate mud accumulation and sediment distribution. Mud sampling was carried out once at the inlet, middle and outlet of the boezem. The sludge degradation rate was analyzed using a reactor for 25 days using gravimetric analysis and reaction kinetics approaches. Water sampling for analysis of mud accumulation rates was carried out once a day for 7 consecutive days. The mud accumulation rate is calculated based on the difference in total solid concentration at the boezem inlet and outlet. Water sampling for mapping sediment distribution is carried out 3 times a week, once every 2 days. The sampling points for mapping sediment distribution were 15 points based on transects with a length and width of 60 m x 30 m per transect. The results of the analysis of total suspended solids from each transect will be mapped in distribution using Surfer 23 software. The results obtained from the research show that the anaerobic degradation rate of sludge in the Kalidami boezem is 0.0005/day which occurs following the first order kinetic equation approach. Mud occupies 1.65% of the effective storage volume of the Kalidami boezem with a mud accumulation rate of 1780,484 m³/year. The distribution of Kalidami boezem sediments based on the total suspended solid concentration decreased from the inlet to the outlet. This condition occurs due to the type of flow based on Reynolds number, settling velocity, flow velocity at each transect point, dredging, and pumping activities. The settling velocity is greater than the water flow velocity so that more solids are sedimented at the boezem inlet
