Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) sangat massif dalam kurun satu dekade terakhir. Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah menjadi kemajuan teknologi yang signifikan di berbagai industri. Industri manufaktur merupakan salah satu industri yang terdistrupsi penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI). Artificial Intelligence (AI) menjadi salah satu komponen dalam revolusi industri 4.0 sehingga setiap industri manufaktur harus siap menerapkan tekonologi ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapan penggunan AI pada industri manufaktur di Indonesia.
Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menggunakan AI Readiness Index (AIRI) Framework yang dilakukan kepada 100 responden metode kuisioner kuantitatif serta metode wawancara pada 15 responden perwakilan perusahaan di industri manufaktur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesiapan penerapan dan implementasi AI masih belum bisa diterapkan secara maksimal. Dilihat dari sisi skor yang diperoleh menunjukkan hasil bahwa rata-rata skor AIRI Industri manufaktur Indonesia memperoleh skor 2,8 termasuk dalam kategori Sadar AI. Hasil penelitian juga mendapatkan industri manufaktur di Indonesia 47% sudah sadar AI (AI Aware), namun hanya 7% yang AI kompeten, sebanyak 27% sudah siap AI (AI Ready), masih ada 20% yang tidak sadar AI (AI Unaware).

In the last decade, Artificial Intelligence (AI) development has been very fast and massive. Artificial Intelligence has become a significant technological advancement in various industries. The manufacturing industry is one of the industries that is being disrupted by the use of Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is one of the components of the industrial revolution 4.0 so every manufacturing industry must be ready to implement this technology. This research aims to determine the readiness to use AI in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia and identify recommendations for the related manufacturing industry.
The research sample was conducted on 100 respondents from various products manufacturing industries in Indonesia. Analysed using statistical analysis which has been adapted to the Artificial Intelligence AI Readiness framework developed by AI Singapore (AISG). The results show that the average manufacturing industry in Indonesia is AI Aware with an AIRI score of 2.8. The Overall result is that 20% of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia is still unaware of adopting AI, 47% is AI aware, 27% of industries are ready to implement AI and only 6% of industries are Competent in AI adoption.
