Abstract

Emisi karbon yang meningkat memiliki dampak bagi lingkungan dan masyarakat, ditambah tidak meratanya distribusi energi listrik di Indonesia menjadi permasalahan yang perlu diselesaikan. Energi panas laut merupakan salah satu energi terbarukan yang potensial dikembangkan di Indonesia, luas wilayah indonesia yang sebagian besar laut akan memerlukan metode pengambilan keputusan dalam menentukan lokasi OTEC. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah metode ELECTRE-IV dengan kriteria, yaitu; temperatur permukaan laut, temperatur laut dalam, rankine efficiency, gross efficiency, kedalaman lokasi, dan jarak lokasi ke pelabuhan. Dari 1.965 titik lokasi yang memiliki potensi energi laut hanya terdapat 321 titik yang cocok untuk instalasi OTEC, dari titik yang cocok tersebut kemudian dilakukan pemeringkatan menggunakan ELECTRE IV. Didapatkan hasil 10 titik lokasi terbaik yang berada di Wilayah Perairan Papua, Maluku, dan Sulawesi.

The increasing carbon mission has an impact on the environment and society, with uneven distribution of electrical energy in Indonesia is a problem that needs to be resolved. Ocean thermal energy is one of the renewable energies that has potential to be developed in Indonesia, the vast territory of Indonesia which is mostly sea will require a decision-making method in determining the location of OTEC. The method that will be used is ELECTRE-IV method with the following criteria; sea surface temperature, deep sea temperature, rankine efficiency, gross efficiency, location depth, and distance from the location to the port. Of the 1,965 locations that have ocean thermal energy potential, there are only 321 points that are suitable for OTEC installation, from these suitable points, a ranking is then carried out using ELECTRE IV. The results obtained were 10 of the best locations in the Papua, Maluku and Sulawesi regions.
