Abstract
Pembangunan di Indonesia, didorong oleh peningkatan populasi, arus perdagangan, dan kemajuan teknologi, telah menyebabkan pertumbuhan infrastruktur yang cepat, khususnya di Pulau Jawa. Jalan tol adalah fokus utama, yang bertujuan untuk menghubungkan ujung barat dan timur Jawa. Namun, wilayah timur, terutama Kabupaten Banyuwangi, tidak memiliki akses jalan tol guna meningkatkan permintaan sistem transportasi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, Proyek Jalan Tol Probolinggo – Banyuwangi Seksi 3 diinisiasi, dirancang untuk memfasilitasi transportasi darat dan berdampak positif bagi perekonomian lokal. Alat berat memainkan peran penting dalam pelaksanaan proyek, memastikan konstruksi yang efisien tanpa mengurangi kualitas. Penelitian ini menganalisis penggunaan dan biaya alat berat dalam melaksanakan proyek, dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai item pekerjaan seperti pengembangan lahan dengan volume penggalian dan timbunan yang besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merencanakan kebutuhan penggunaan alat berat pada pekerjaan tanah meliputi analisis produktivitas alat berat, berapa banyak dan jenis alat berat yang akan digunakan, biaya yang dibutuhkan, dan penjadwalan penggunaan alat berat. Perhitungan ini menggunakan metode yang mengacu pada perhitungan Mechanical Earthmoving dan Perhitungan Biaya Pelaksanaan Pekerjaan Menggunakan Alat Berat. Dari perhitungan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Probolinggo – Banyuwangi (Seksi 1 Tahap 3) membutuhkan alat berat khusus untuk pekerjaan tanah. Untuk penggalian, dibutuhkan 47 Breaker Excavator, 43 Bucker Excavator, dan 86 Dump Truck. Untuk penimbunan, diperlukan 19 Bulldozer, 19 Vibration Roller, dan 1 Motor Grader. Total waktu penyelesaian untuk mesin ini berkisar antara 298 hingga 344 hari. Total biaya penggunaan alat berat untuk proyek ini kurang lebih Rp. 258.467.834.000,00.

The development in Indonesia, driven by increasing population, trade flows, and technological advancements, has led to rapid growth in infrastructure, particularly on Java Island. Toll roads are a key focus, aiming to connect Java's western and eastern ends. However, the eastern region, notably Banyuwangi Regency, lacks toll road access, increasing the demand for transportation systems. To address this, the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi Section 3 Toll Road Project was initiated, designed to facilitate land transportation and positively impact the local economy. Heavy equipment plays a crucial role in the project's implementation, ensuring efficient construction without compromising quality. This study analyzes the usage and cost of heavy equipment in executing the project, considering various work items such as land development with large volumes of excavation and landfill. This research was conducted to plan the needs of heavy equipment use in earthworks including analysis of heavy equipment productivity, how many and types of heavy equipment will be used, costs needed, and scheduling the use of heavy equipment. This calculation uses a method that refers to calculating Mechanical Earthmoving and Calculation of Work Implementation Costs Using Heavy Equipment. From the calculations, it can be concluded that the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi Toll Road Construction project (Section 1 Phase 3) requires specific heavy equipment for earthworks. For excavation, 47 Breaker Excavators, 43 Bucket Excavators, and 86 Dump Trucks are needed. For stockpiling, 19 Bulldozers, 19 Vibration Rollers, and 1 Motor Grader are necessary. The total completion times for these machines range from 298 to 344 days. The total cost of using heavy equipment for this project is approximately Rp. 258,467,834,000.00.
