Abstract
PT. Linde Gresik adalah penyedia berbagai produk dan layanan gas industri termasuk gas oksigen, nitrogen, argon, hidrogen, dan gas khusus lainnya. Pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Linde Gresik, proteksi yang andal, cepat, dan akurat sangat penting untuk meminimalkan risiko ketidakstabilan sistem, kerusakan peralatan, dan bahaya bagi manusia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis koordinasi proteksi rele arus lebih yang menghubungkan rele arus lebih primer dengan rele arus lebih backup menggunakan software ETAP. Saat terjadi gangguan dalam sistem tenaga listrik, circuit breaker (CB) harus dapat melokalisasi gangguan dengan cara membuka. Urutan terbukanya CB yang benar adalah diawali dengan CB yang paling dekat dengan sumber gangguan dan diteruskan oleh CB backup. Hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan pada koordinasi proteksi rele arus lebih adalah pengisian parameter arus pickup dan time dial setting (TDS). Dalam melokalisasi gangguan, waktu operasi rele diatur oleh nilai TDS. Umumnya, nilai minimum TDS didapatkan menggunakan perhitungan manual berdasarkan manufaktur relennya. Namun, untuk memperoleh nilai TDS yang optimal dalam pengkoordinasian rele satu dengan lainnya masih menggunakan metode trial and error dengan menggeser kurva sampai mendapatkan nilai CTI (coordination time interval) yang tepat. Untuk memudahkan dalam mendapatkan nilai TDS yang optimal maka diperlukan adanya suatu algoritma khusus. Pada penelitian ini, akan dibahas tentang perhitungan time dial setting rele arus lebih waktu invers dengan metode modified adaptive particle swarm optimization (MAPSO) pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Linde Gresik. Pada hasil akhir penelitian, nilai TDS yang didapatkan dari algoritma MAPSO sudah sesuai dengan perhitungan manual. Program MAPSO akan meminimalkan target waktu operasi dan CTI antar rele arus lebih.

PT. Linde Gresik is a provider of various industrial gas products and services, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, and other specialty gases. In the electrical system of PT. Linde Gresik, reliable, fast, and accurate protection is essential to minimize the risk of system instability, equipment damage, and hazards to people. Therefore, an analysis of overcurrent relay protection coordination is required, connecting primary overcurrent relays with backup overcurrent relays using ETAP software. When a fault occurs in the power system, the circuit breaker (CB) must isolate the fault by opening. The correct sequence for CB opening starts with the CB closest to the fault source, followed by the backup CB. An important aspect to consider in overcurrent relay protection coordination is setting the pickup current and time dial setting (TDS) parameters. In fault localization, the relay's operating time is set by the TDS value. Generally, the minimum TDS value is obtained through manual calculations based on the relay manufacturer's specifications. However, to obtain optimal TDS values for coordinating relays with each other, a trial and error method is still used by adjusting the curve until the correct coordination time interval (CTI) is achieved. To facilitate obtaining optimal TDS values, a specific algorithm is needed. This study will discuss the calculation of time dial setting for inverse time overcurrent relays using the modified adaptive particle swarm optimization (MAPSO) method in the electrical system of PT. Linde Gresik. The final results of the study show that the TDS values obtained from the MAPSO algorithm are in accordance with manual calculations. The MAPSO program will minimize the target operating time and CTI between overcurrent relays.
