Abstract

Fitur utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi pipa terekspos, jejak kaki jack up rig, spud can drag scar, dan seabed scar. Distribusi sedimen menunjukkan dominasi lempung bertekstur lunak.

============================================================
The Indonesian people's need for energy supply has increased in recent years, so the hydrocarbon production process has been intensified to meet these needs. This has led to an increase in hydrocarbon exploration. Exploration on land or at sea is not an obstacle to the process of obtaining the hydrocarbons sought, both are not free from the presence of geohazards. This study was conducted to determine the depth conditions, seabed features that have the potential to become geohazards, sediment distribution, and provide recommendations for the selection of Jack Up Rig lines in the study area in the Southeast waters of South Sumatra Province through a geophysical survey using three acoustic measurement tools, namely Singlebeam Echosounder, Multibeam Echosounder, and Side Scan Sonar. From this study, it was found that the seabed depth varied from 22 m to 23.9 m with a nearly flat morphology and local slope between 0° and 2°. The main features identified include exposed pipes, jack up rig footprints, spud can drag scar, and seabed scar. Sediment distribution showed a predominance of soft-textured clays. From all analysis results, it is recommended that the jack up rig perform rig entry through the Northeast-East side of the platform to avoid geohazards such as exposed pipelines and subsea cables, as well as clusters of seabed scars, in order to reduce potential accidents and improve operational safety. Using the weighting combined with the slope value and the presence of seabed features as potential geohazards, it is recommended that the Jack Up Rig perform rig entry through the Northeast - East side of the platform to avoid geohazard hazards such as exposed pipelines and subsea cables, as well as clusters of seabed scars, in order to reduce the potential for accidents and improve operational safety.
