Abstract

Air merupakan kebutuhan dasar hidup manusia, kebutuhan manusia akan air bersih pada saat ini sangatlah besar baik untuk dikonsumsi maupun untuk menunjang kehidupan manusia. Oleh karena itu, PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengoptimalkan kinerjanya dalam pendistribusian air bersih seiring dengan pertambahan penduduk Kota Surabaya. Pada distribusi tambahan PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya Unit Karang Pilang II pompa merupakan komponen penting. Tiga buah pompa dioperasikan saat beban puncak, dan satu pompa stand by dengan kapasitas tiap pompa 250 l/s. Tahapan pada proyek akhir ini meliputi perhitungan analitis Head efektif instalasi yang dibandingkan dengan perhitungan numerik, pemilihan pompa sentrifugal yang sesuai dengan perhitungan, perhitungan dan perancangan impeller.
Hasil pada perhitungan berdasarkan nilai Head efektif instalasi (Heff) sebesar 63,959 m dan kapasitas 15 m3/jam untuk fluida air maka pompa sentrifugal yang dipilih adalah pompa Ebara FS4NA 250 × 200 dengan Kapasitas 15 m3/h; Head 80 m; Efisiensi 81 %; Putaran 1450 rpm. Rancangan impeller yang sesuai, yakni impeller dengan tipe moderate specific speed impeller, closed impeller dengan diameter sudu inlet 0,271 m, diameter outlet sudu 0.479 m, sudut kelengkungan sudu inlet 17ᵒ, sudut kelengkungan sudu outlet 21ᵒ, dan jumlah sudu 8

Water is a basic human need, the human need for clean water at this time is very large both for consumption and to support human life. Therefore, PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya has a responsibility to optimize its performance in distributing clean water along with the increasing population of Surabaya City. In the additional distribution of PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya Karang Pilang II Unit, pumps are an important component. Three pumps are operated during peak loads, and one standby pump with a capacity of 250 l / s each. The stages in this final project include analytical calculations of the effective Head of the installation compared to numerical calculations, selection of centrifugal pumps that are in accordance with the calculations, calculations and impeller designs.
