Abstract

Perkembangan Industri Di Indonesia Berkembang Pesat, Salah Satu Bidang Industrinya Adalah Manufaktur. PT Hikari Indonesia Merupakan Salah Satu Industri Manufaktur Yang Menggunakan Berbagai Macam Proses Sequensial, Salah Satunya Adalah Penggunaan Conveyor Untuk Memilah Kelapa. Namun, Proses Pemilahan Kelapa Di PT Hikari Indonesia Masih Menggunakan Metode Manual Dalam Pemilihan Kelapa Berdasarkan Diameter. Dengan Demikian, Diperlukan Pengembangan Sistem Conveyor Untuk Memilah Kelapa Secara Otomatis. Sistem Tersebut Menggunakan Sistem Pneumatik Dalam Pemilihannya, Didasarkan Dalam Beberapa Parameter, Yang Pertama Kelapa Harus Dalam Kondisi Standar. Kondisi Standar Adalah Kondisi Kelapa Yang Tidak Mengalami Pecah Dan Tidak Memiliki Tunas, Jika Salah Satu Syarat Tersebut Tidak Terpenuhi Maka Kelapa Dalam Kategori Non-Standar. Kemudian, Ketika Kelapa Telah Memenuhi Syarat Pertama Tersebut Maka Kelapa Akan Dipilih Berdasarkan Tiga Grade Parameter Sesuai Dengan Kebutuhan PT Hikari Indonesia. Metode Penelitian Yang Digunakan Adalah Secara Kuantitatif Dan Kualitatif. Metode Kuantitatif Digunakan Untuk Menguji Performance Dari Setiap Komponen Pneumatik Dan Electrical (Sensor Proximity) Sortir Kelapa Serta Mengetahui Tingkat Error Dalam Jangka Waktu Tertentu. Sedangkan Metode Kualitatif Digunakan Untuk Menyatakan Secara Deskriptif Mengenai Kualitas Kelapa Setelah Proses Penyortiran. Hasil Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Sistem Conveyor Yang Dirancang Menggunakan Silinder Pneumatik Double Acting Dengan Empat Parameter Pemilihan (Tiga Grading Kelapa Dan Satu Tanpa Sorting), Telah Diuji Dengan Performance Test 100%, Validasi Sistem Menunjukkan Ketidakpastian Sebesar 1.010925%, Menggunakan Silinder Dengan Stroke 35mm Dan Flow 8, Serta Timer Solenoid 8ms, 6ms, Dan 5ms, Dengan Kecepatan Motor 40RPM, Dan Memerlukan Preventive Maintenance Setiap 21 Hari.

Industrial Development In Indonesia Is Growing Rapidly, One Of The Industrial Fields Is Manufacturing. PT Hikari Indonesia Is One Of The Manufacturing Industries That Uses A Variety Of Sequential Processes, One Of Which Is The Use Of Conveyors To Sort Coconuts. However, The Coconut Sorting Process At PT Hikari Indonesia Still Uses Manual Methods In Selecting Coconuts Based On Diameter. Thus, It Is Necessary To Develop A Conveyor System To Sort Coconuts Automatically. The System Uses A Pneumatic System In Its Selection, Based On Several Parameters, The First Of Which Is That The Coconut Must Be In Standard Condition. Standard Condition Is The Condition Of The Coconut That Is Not Broken And Does Not Have Buds, If One Of These Conditions Is Not Met Then The Coconut Is In The Non-Standard Category. Then, When The Coconut Has Met The First Requirement, The Coconut Will Be Selected Based On Three Grade Parameters According To The Needs Of PT Hikari Indonesia. The Research Methods Used Are Quantitative And Qualitative.The Quantitative Method Is Used To Test The Performance Of Each Pneumatic And Electrical Component (Proximity Sensor) Of Coconut Sorting And Determine The Error Rate Within A Certain Period Of Time. While The Qualitative Method Is Used To Descriptively State The Quality Of The Coconut After The Sorting Process.The Results Of This Study Are A Conveyor System Designed Using A Double Acting Pneumatic Cylinder With Four Selection Parameters (Three Coconut Grading And One Without Sorting), Has Been Tested With A 100% Performance Test, System Validation Shows An Uncertainty Of 1.010925%, Using A Cylinder With A Stroke Of 35mm And Flow Of 8, And Solenoid Timers Of 8ms, 6ms, And 5ms, With A Motor Speed Of 40RPM, And Requires Preventive Maintenance Every 21 Days.
