Abstract
Meningkatnya jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Surabaya sejalan dengan perkembangan wisata yang dapat memberikan alternatif bagi para wisatawan, termasuk wisata usaha makan dan minum di Surabaya yang juga semakin berkembang dan dikemas dengan modern menjadi wisata kuliner. Aneka ragam kuliner dengan ciri khas cita rasa tersendiri yang dimiliki oleh Surabaya merupakan salah satu peluang dan kekuatan wisata kuliner Surabaya. Peluang tersebut perlu dikelola secara optimal dan sedemikan rupa agar keberlangsungan dan kesinambungannya terjamin. Pengelolaan wisata kuliner yang optimal memerlukan suatu wadah dan fasilitas, salah satunya dengan eksterior maupun interior yang baik dan memadai. Desain Interior sebagai penunjang wisata kuliner adalah desain interior yang menjadi penarik perhatian konsumen untuk datang mengunjungi dan desain interior yang dapat menghadirkan suasana ruang yang nyaman bagi pengunjung. Sentra Wisata Kuliner (SWK) Convention Hall merupakan salah satu sentra wisata kuliner di Surabaya. Sebagai salah satu sentra wisata kuliner di Surabaya yang memiliki masyarakat dengan tingkat sosial tinggi dan cenderung mengikuti pergerakan zaman, daya tarik yang dimiliki oleh SWK Convention Hall belum dikelola secara maksimal dan belum mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Dimana pada masa kini sentra wisata kuliner yang merupakan tempat makan tidak hanya menjadi tempat melakukan aktivitas makan saja, namun juga menjadi tempat dengan beragam fungsi lainnya. Berdasarkan studi yang telah dilakukan, pengaplikasian konsep interior multifungsi dan modern menjadi salah satu cara untuk menambah jangka waktu beraktivitas yang dihabiskan oleh pengunjung dan memberikan pengaruh positif pada minat pengunjung untuk mengunjungi kembali SWK Convention Hall. Metode pengembangan perancangan desain interior menggunakan metode design thinking berdasarkan aktivitas pengguna. Dari pengembangan tersebut menghasilkan rancangan desain interior berupa konsep desain melalui bentuk visual diantaranya pengolahan layout, elemen pembentuk ruang dan gambar perspektif pada ruang terpilih. Perancangan desain interior ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengelola dalam mengembangkan SWK Convention Hall.

The increasing number of tourist visits to Surabaya is in line with tourism developments which can provide alternatives for tourists, including food and drink business tourism in Surabaya which is also increasingly developing and being packaged in a modern way as culinary tourism. The variety of culinary delights with their own distinctive flavors that Surabaya has is one of the opportunities and strengths of Surabaya's culinary tourism. These opportunities need to be managed optimally and in such a way that their continuity and continuity are guaranteed. Optimal management of culinary tourism requires a platform and facilities, one of which has a good and adequate exterior and interior. Interior design as a support for culinary tourism is interior design that attracts the attention of consumers to come to visit and interior design that can provide a comfortable spatial atmosphere for visitors. Sentra Wisata Kuliner (SWK) Convention Hall is one of the culinary tourism centers in Surabaya. As one of the culinary tourism centers in Surabaya which has people with a high social level and tends to follow the movements of the times, the advantages of the SWK Convention Hall has not been managed optimally and has not kept up with the times. Where nowadays culinary tourism centers which are places to eat are not only places for eating activities, but also places with various other functions, such as relaxing, gathering, socializing and enjoying the interior atmosphere inside. Based on the studies that have been carried out, the application of the multifunction and modern interior concept is one way to increase the activity time spent by visitors and have a positive influence on visitors' interest in revisiting the SWK Convention Hall. The interior design development method uses the design thought method based on user activity. From this development, an interior design plan is produced in the form of a design concept through visual forms including layout processing, space forming elements and perspective drawings of the selected space. It is hoped that this interior design will be a reference for developers in developing the SWK Convention Hall.
