Abstract
PT.

PT. TPS wants to increase its dock capacity from 65,000 DWT to 150,000 DWT. However, the current depth of the international jetty cannot accommodate the draft of a 150,000 DWT vessel. In addition, PT TPS plans to widen its international wharf by 30 meters to the north to overcome the lack of water depth. A pile strength analysis of the international quay of PT TPS is required due to the many activities that occur at the international quay of PT TPS and some of the factors described above. Analysis of pile strength using SAP2000 software. This analysis aims to determine whether the piles are still “safe” with the increased capacity that occurs. From the results of the analysis conducted, the largest capacity ratio obtained occurred in the piles in the structure according to the plan of 0.4184. As for the piles that experience the largest loading, there are piles frame 736, 738, 744 and 746 with the same capacity ratio of 0.4184. From the results of running analysis also obtained a deflection of 0.003092 m. Both deflections that occur in each pile with the largest loading are still below the allowable deflection tolerance (0.0485 m). These two results can be concluded that the pier structure is categorized as safe.
