Abstract

Net Zero Emission (NZE) atau nol emisi karbon adalah situasi jumlah karbon yang dilepaskan ke atmosfer tidak melebihi batas yang mampu diserap oleh bumi. Program ini perlu dilakukan sesuai dengan pertimbangan emisi CO2 yang selalu meningkat tiap tahunnya. Sektor Industri Indonesia menghasilkan 536.830.000 ton/tahun emisi CO2. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pabrik PCC adalah CaO komersial dan CO2 dari flue gas. Pabrik PCC ini berkapasitas 200.000 ton/tahun dengan bahan baku flue gas sebesar 325836,2 ton/tahun dan CaO sebesar 114622 ton/tahun. Penggunaan 0,65% dari flue gas PT. Semen Indonesia Tbk Plant Tuban dapat mengurangi emisi CO2 Indonesia di sektor industri sebesar 0,061%. Pabrik ini direncanakan untuk dibangun di Daerah Mentoso, Jenu, Tuban, Jawa Timur dengan mendekati bahan baku dari flue gas PT. Semen Indonesia Tbk Plant Tuban. Proses produksi PCC terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama, yaitu slaking, carbonation, dan purification. Pabrik akan beroperasi selama 330 hari selama 15 tahun dengan harga penjualan produk PCC sebesar $160/ton. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan analisis kedua aspek tersebut, pabrik ini memiliki IRR sebesar 20,21% dengan Pay Out Time selama 7 tahun. =============================================================================================================
Net Zero Emission (NZE), or carbon neutrality, refers to a situation where the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere does not exceed the amount that can be absorbed by the Earth. This program is necessary considering the annual increase in CO2 emissions. The industrial sector in Indonesia produces 536,830,000 tons per year of CO2 emissions. The raw materials used in the production of PCC (Precipitated Calcium Carbonate) are commercial CaO and CO2 from flue gas. This PCC plant has a capacity of 200,000 tons per year, with raw material requirements of 325,836.2 tons per year of flue gas and 114,622 tons per year of CaO. Utilizing 0.65% of the flue gas from PT Semen Indonesia Tbk Plant Tuban can reduce CO2 emissions in the Indonesian industrial sector by 0.061%. The plant is planned to be built in Daerah Mentoso, Jenu, Tuban, East Java, close to the flue gas source from PT Semen Indonesia Tbk Plant Tuban. The PCC production process consists of three main stages: slaking, carbonation, and purification. The plant will operate for 330 days a year over a period of 15 years, with the selling price of PCC set at $160 per ton. Based on the calculations and analysis of these aspects, the plant has an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 20.21% and a Pay Out Time of 7 years.
