Abstract

Proyek pembangunan double track kereta api lintas selatan adalah salah satu Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas lintas kereta api dalam menghubungkan pusat-pusat perekonomian di Pulau Jawa bagian Selatan; rencana panjang jalur adalah 361 kilometer mencakup Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah, dan Jawa Barat. Proyek ini dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian di mana salah satunya adalah proyek double track Mojokerto-Sepanjang. Bagian tersebut dibagi lagi menjadi 9 paket pekerjaan; STA 43+800 sampai dengan STA 49+500 merupakan Paket 8 yang terdiri dari pekerjaan perkuatan tanah asli, pembangunan railway track sepanjang 5,7 kilometer, pembangunan stasiun, dan pembangunan jembatan kereta api sepanjang 250 meter. Jembatan kereta api yang dibangun pada proyek ini terbentang sepanjang 250 meter yang terdiri dari 4 bentang, 2 abutmen, dan 3 pilar.
Perkuatan turap digunakan pada timbunan oprit di belakang Abutmen 1 yang sisinya tegak; sedangkan sisi timbunan miring diperkuat dengan cerucuk pada tanah dasarnya dengan menggunakan rel tipe R 33 sedalam 5 m dengan jarak 1 m. Timbunan oprit pada Abutmen 2 diperkuat dengan pancang rel tipe R 33 yang ditanam pada tanah dasarnya sedalam 5 m dengan jarak 1 m.
Berdasarkan kondisi eksisting, oprit di belakang Abutmen 1 dan Abutmen 2 tidak terdapat perkuatan untuk menghilangkan tekanan oprit terhadap abutmen. Selain itu, pada timbunan miring juga tidak terdapat perkuatan. Agar dapat direncanakan desain abutmen yang lebih efisien, pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan evaluasi perencanaan eksisting dan direncanakan perkuatan alternatif timbunan tanah serta perencanaan oprit di belakang abutmen.
Dari perhitungan evaluasi eksisting didapatkan hasil kondisi eksisting telah memenuhi persyaratan sehingga tidak diperlukan perkuatan tambahan. Sedangkan untuk perencanaan alternatif dilakukan perencanaan perkuatan Vertical Wall, perkuatan geotekstil di belakang oprit (untuk menghilangkan tekanan oprit terhadap abutmen), perkuatan geotekstil lereng, dan juga dilakukan perencanaan preloading serta PVD (prefabricated vertical drain). Setelah direncanakan perkuatan alternatif, dapat dilakukan perencanaan desain abutmen altenatif.
Desain pondasi Abutmen 1 Alternatif direncanakan dengan konfigurasi tiang 2 x 3 berdiameter 1 m dan panjang 16 m dan desain pondasi Abutmen 2 Alternatif direncanakan dengan konfigurasi tiang 2 x 3 berdiameter 1,2 m dan panjang 18 m.
Total biaya material yang dibutuhkan untuk perencanaan alternatif adalah sebesar Rp 4.525.292.662,33. Nilai tersebut lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan biaya material untuk perencanaan eksisting, yaitu sebesar Rp 5.448.243.202,76. Sehingga perencanaan alternatif dapat diusulkan sebagai alternatif pada proyek pembangunan jembatan kereta api Mojokerto – Sepanjang.

The double track railway project is one of the strategic national projects in order to increase the capacity of railway connection of economic centers in the South of Java island; the railway length plan is 361 kilometer covering East Java, Central Java, and West Java. The project is divided into several segments, one of which is the Mojokerto-Sepanjang double track project. The segment is further subdivided into 9 work packages; STA 43+800 – STA 49+500 is the 8th package which consists of reinforcement of the soil, construction of 5,7 kilometer railway track, construction of train station, and construction of railway bridge spanning 250 meter. The railway bridge consists of 4 spans, 2 abutments, and 3 pilars.
Retaining wall reinforcement is applied to the embankment behind Abutment 1, where the vertical side is fortified. Meanwhile, the sloping embankment side is reinforced with micropiles, using R 33 type rails, driven into the soil at a depth of 5 meters with a 1-meter spacing. The embankment behind Abutment 2 is strengthened with R 33 rail piles inserted into the soil at a depth of 5 meters with a 1-meter spacing.
Based on the existing condition, there is no reinforcement for the embankment behind Abutment 1 and Abutment 2 to alleviate the pressure on the abutments. Moreover, there is a lack of reinforcement on the sloping embankment. In order to design a more efficient abutment, this final project includes evaluating the existing plan and devising alternative reinforcement for the embankment as well as planning for the ramp behind the abutment.
The evaluation of the existing conditions shows that they meet the requirements, thus no additional reinforcement is needed. For the alternative design, the project includes the design of Vertical Wall, geotextile reinforcement behind the embankment (to eliminate pressure on the abutments), geotextile slope reinforcement, and the planning of preloading and PVD (Prefabricated Vertical Drains). Once the alternative reinforcements are planned, an alternative abutment design can be developed.
The foundation design for Alternative Abutment 1 includes a configuration of 2 x 3 piles with a diameter of 1 meter and a length of 16 meters, while the foundation design for Alternative Abutment 2 includes a configuration of 2 x 3 piles with a diameter of 1.2 meters and a length of 18 meters.
The total material cost for the alternative design is IDR 4,525,292,662.33. This amount is more efficient compared to the material cost for the existing design, which is IDR Rp 5,448,243,202.76. Therefore, the alternative design can be proposed as an option for the Mojokerto – Sepanjang railway bridge construction project.
