Abstract
Dalam industri yang semakin kompetitif, supply chain dan distribusi barang menjadi krusial untuk mempertahankan daya saing perusahaan. PT XYZ, salah satu pemain utama industri semen di Indonesia, memiliki jaringan produksi dan distribusi yang luas. Namun, proses distribusi yang panjang dan kompleks ini menimbulkan tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan efisiensi dan meminimalkan biaya produksi dan transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan teknik pengoptimalan yang efektif menggunakan model matematis pemrograman linear. Penelitian ini menggunakan data-data sekunder seperti permintaan produk, kapasitas produksi, biaya produksi, dan biaya distribusi pada tahun 2023 untuk menentukan alokasi yang paling efisien. Tujuan akhirnya adalah memberikan alternatif permodelan optimasi bagi PT XYZ untuk mengoptimalkan strategi produksi-distribusi perusahaan. Diharapkan dengan penelitian ini, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan daya saingnya dan melayani pelanggan dengan lebih baik di tengah persaingan yang ketat dalam industri semen. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa optimasi menggunakan teknik mixed integer linear programming dapat menghemat biaya produksi-distribusi sampai 494 miliar rupiah atau enam persen dari kondisi semula.

In an increasingly competitive industry, supply chain and product distribution have become crucial for maintaining a company's competitiveness. PT XYZ, one of the major players in the cement industry in Indonesia, possesses an extensive production and distribution network. However, this long and complex distribution process poses challenges in optimizing efficiency and minimizing production and transportation costs. This research aims to develop an effective optimization technique using a linear programming mathematical model. This study uses secondary data such as product demand, production capacity, production costs, and distribution costs in 2023 to determine the most efficient allocation. The goal is to provide an alternative optimization model for PT XYZ to optimize the company's production-distribution strategy. It is expected that with this research, the company can improve its competitiveness and serve customers better amidst intense competition in the cement industry. The results prove that optimization using mixed integer linear programming techniques can save production-distribution costs up to 494 billion rupiah or six percent from the existing condition.
