Abstract
Industri pupuk memegang peran penting dalam mendorong program ketahanan pangan nasional. Di Indonesia, terdapat 5 anak perusahaan produksi pupuk milik negara yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, rata-rata utilitas mesin pemeliharaan pada kelima anak perusahaan ini masih rendah, terutama pada Anak Perusahaan V (Cikampek) yang hanya memiliki rata-rata utilitas 15,50%. Hal ini disebabkan belum adanya standarisasi perhitungan utilitas mesin dan perusahaan merasa aset penunjang maintenance, khususnya pada alat bantu berat memiliki produktivitas yang rendah. Rendahnya utilitas mesin mengindikasikan adanya idle capacity yang berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai peluang bisnis untuk meningkatkan pendapatan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung utilitas alat bantu berat, menetapkan standarisasi perhitungan utilitas, mengidentifikasi potensi bisnis dari kapasitas tak terpakai atau idle capacity, serta mengestimasi potensi profit yang timbul akibat pemanfaatan potensi bisnis. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Equipment Utilization Rate dan Linear Programming untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi strategi peningkatan utilitas alat bantu berat secara optimal.

The fertilizer industry plays an important role in encouraging national food security programs. In Indonesia, there are 5 state-owned fertilizer production subsidiaries spread across various regions. Based on previous research, the average utility of maintenance machines in these five subsidiaries is still low, especially in Subsidiary V (Cikampek) which only has an average utility of 15.50%. This is because there is no standardization of machine utility calculations and companies feel that maintenance support assets, especially heavy equipment, have low productivity. Low machine utility indicates idle capacity which has the potential to be used as a business opportunity to increase company revenue. This research aims to calculate the utility of heavy equipment, establish standardization of utility calculations, identify business potential from unused capacity, and estimate potential profits arising from the utilization of business potential. The analysis was carried out using the Equipment Utilization Rate and Linear Programming methods to obtain recommendations for optimal strategies for increasing the utility of heavy equipment.
