Abstract

Kecamatan Gresik telah memiliki sistem drainase yang cukup lengkap dan merata di seluruh wilayah akan tetapi genangan masih ada dan merendam di beberapa wilayah Kecamatan Gresik. Saat ini, kondisi saluran Kecamatan Gresik terdapat sampah dan seringkali saluran tersumbat oleh tumpukan sampah. Hal tersebut memnyebabkan saluran drainase tidak berjalan dengan lancar. Saat musim hujan tiba, maka akan terjadi genangan di Kecamatan Gresik terutama di Jalan Samanhudi, Jalan Faqih Usman, Jalan Hasyim Asyari, dan Jalan KH. Kholil. Masalah genangan di Kecamatan Gresik disebabkan kondisi topografi relatif datar serta telah terjadinya perubahan tata guna lahan yang semula terdapat kali di tengah Jalan Hasyim Asyari berubahan menjadi pelebaran jalan dengan kali yang di tutup. Dari hasil analisis, terjadinya genangan di Kecamatan Gresik disebabkan kapasitas saluran drainase tidak dapat menampung debit eksisting, jumlah street inlet terbatas, masyarakat membuang sampah sembarangan, serta pemeliharaan saluran drainase kurang optimal seperti saluran dipenuhi sampah dan sedimen serta gorong-gorong dangkal karena tidak di keruk selama 20 tahun.

Gresik District already has a fairly complete and evenly distributed drainage system throughout the area, but puddles still occur and inundate several areas in Gresik District. Currently, the condition of the drainage channels in Gresik District is littered with trash and often clogged by piles of waste. This causes the drainage system to not function smoothly. During the rainy season, puddles will occur in Gresik District, especially on Samanhudi Street, Faqih Usman Street, Hasyim Asyari Street, and KH. Kholil Street. The problem of puddles in Gresik District is caused by the relatively flat topography and changes in land use, where a river in the middle of Hasyim Asyari Street was converted into road widening with the river being covered. From the analysis results, the puddles in Gresik District are caused by the drainage channel capacity being unable to accommodate the existing discharge, limited number of street inlets, people littering, and suboptimal maintenance of drainage channels such as channels filled with trash and sediment as well as shallow culverts that have not been dredged for 20 years.
