Abstract

Kegiatan praktikum merupakan proses pembelajaran yang interaktif dengan melibatkan partisipasi peserta didik secara langsung dalam pembuktian teori. Dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran praktikum IPA, diperlukan adanya laboratorium sebagai sarana penunjang kegiatan pengamatan pada bahan pembelajaran. Agar pembelajaran melalui praktikum dapat berjalan lancar dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan, siswa harus memahami prosedur kegiatan praktikum, termasuk tujuan kegiatan, alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan, serta langkah-langkahnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan edukasi tentang instruksi praktikum dan penggunaan alat laboratorium dalam pembelajaran IPA. Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa metode penelitian yang meliputi studi literatur, kuesioner, observasi, depth interview, dan studi eksperimental. Tahap pertama yang dilakukan adalah pengumpulan data dari riset primer dan riset sekunder. Riset data sekunder dilakukan menggunakan metode studi literatur, lalu riset data primer dilakukan dengan melalui kuesioner, observasi dan depth interview. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah pada tahap studi eksperimental untuk pengembangan luaran konsep desain. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari perancangan ini adalah poster series yang berisi materi terkait instruksi praktikum dan penggunaan alat laboratorium yang sesuai dengan kurikulum pendidikan IPA di jenjang SMA. Perancangan ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah pelajar dalam memahami langkah-langkah kegiatan praktikum dan penggunaan peralatan laboratorium dalam pembelajaran sains.

Practical activities are an interactive learning process that involves the direct participation of students in proving theories. The implementation of practical learning in science education requires a laboratory as a supporting facility for observing learning materials. To ensure that practical learning runs smoothly and achieves the desired educational objectives, students must understand the procedures of practical activities, including the purpose of the activities, the tools and materials needed, and the steps involved. Therefore, there is a need for educational media that can provide instructions on practical activities and the use of laboratory equipment in science education. This design undertaken using various research methods, including literature review, questionnaires, observation, in-depth interviews, and experimental study. The first stage involves collecting data from primary and secondary research. Secondary data research is conducted using literature review methods, while primary data research is conducted through questionnaires, observation, and in-depth interviews. The data obtained is then processed in the experimental study stage for the development of design concept outputs. The output of this design is a series of posters containing materials related to practical instructions and the use of laboratory equipment in accordance with the high school science curriculum. This design is expected to help students understand the steps of practical activities and the use of laboratory equipment in science learning.
