Abstract

This research outlines the design and development of an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) specifically engineered for military patrol and interception operations within Indonesia's territorial waters. The study covers the comprehensive design process, encompassing both conceptualization and detailed technical analysis, to ensure the vehicle adheres to specified operational requirements. The UAOV is designed to operate autonomously, utilizing advanced navigation systems such as LiDAR and SONAR, thereby enhancing its capacity for precise and reliable underwater missions. The power system, incorporating rechargeable energy storage, guarantees prolonged underwater endurance. This design not only addresses strategic maritime security needs but also significantly advances the technology of autonomous underwater vehicles.
