Abstract

Peningkatan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) menjadi prioritas utama di
industri manufaktur, terutama dalam menghadapi risiko kebisingan yang dapat berdampak
negatif terhadap produktivitas dan kesehatan pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
merancang sebuah sistem washing conveyor dengan pendekatan manajemen risiko guna
mengurangi tingkat kebisingan di PT. ABC. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis
kebutuhan, desain dan pengujian sistem, serta evaluasi efektivitas desain melalui
pengukuran kebisingan dan Job Safety Analysis.. Desain ini melibatkan penggunaan bahan
peredam suara pada komponen utama dan optimalisasi tata letak untuk mengurangi
propagasi suara. Selain itu, peningkatan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) dan pelatihan
intensif bagi pekerja juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan keselamatan dan kenyamanan
kerja. Implementasi desain ini tidak hanya meningkatkan K3 tetapi juga berkontribusi pada
peningkatan efisiensi proses produksi, dengan pekerja dapat bekerja lebih fokus dan nyaman.
Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk meningkat karena part benda kerja yang lebih
bersih setelah proses pembersihan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa
desain washing conveyor dengan pendekatan manajemen risiko efektif dalam mengurangi
kebisingan dan meningkatkan K3 di PT. ABC. Saran untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut
termasuk monitoring berkelanjutan, peningkatan teknologi, edukasi dan pelatihan rutin, serta
evaluasi berkala terhadap desain dan operasional mesin.
========================================================================================================================Improving work safety and health (K3) is a top priority in the manufacturing
industry, especially in the face of noise risks that can negatively affect worker productivity
and health. This research aims to design a washing conveyor system with a risk management
approach to reduce noise levels at PT ABC. The methodology used includes needs analysis,
system design and testing, and evaluation of design effectiveness through noise
measurement and Job Safety Analysis. The design involves the use of soundproofing
materials on key components and layout optimization to reduce sound propagation. In
addition, increased use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and intensive training for
workers also contributed to improved work safety and comfort. The implementation of this
design not only improved OHS but also contributed to increased efficiency of the production
process, with workers able to work more focused and comfortably. Evaluation showed that
product quality improved due to cleaner workpiece parts after the cleaning process. Thus,
this study concludes that the washing conveyor design with a risk management approach is
effective in reducing noise and improving OHS at PT ABC. Suggestions for further
development include continuous monitoring, technology upgrades, regular education and
training, and periodic evaluation of machine design and operation.
