Abstract

lingkungan.

Maritime industry hold a significant role in global carbon emission production, now the needs of carbon capture system become a must consider aspect to avoid and mitigate the
environmental impact. This thesis is dedicated to give an systematic analysis regarding to the carbon capture system integrated with the existing ship or retrofitting ships, this thesis also to assess which kind of ship will most likely be the most suited with the system. This research start with the literature review regarding the application of Carbon Capture System including with the regulation related and the ship classification and characteristicsare
examined to understand the engineering specifications and operational profiles of different vessel types. A data-driven methodology is developed to select and evaluate ship types for CCS integration. Data based statitical analysis will assess the feasibility, emission profile and
retrofitting suitness across various ship categories. Results from the data analysis enable the comparison and ranking of ship types based on their potential for successful CCS integration and emission reduction impact. The findings provide valuable insights for stakeholders in the
maritime industry, guiding decisions on optimizing carbon capture system deployment to maximize environmental sustainability.
