Abstract
Fenomena banjir dan krisis air bersih sering terjadi dan diperkirakan akan terus terjadi dengan adanya kenaikan muka air laut karena perubahan iklim. Hal ini mengancam banyak kota-kota besar, termasuk Jakarta. Kenaikan muka air laut mendekati 25 cm setiap tahunnya dengan minimnya area resapan air dan penggunaan air tanah yang berlebihan, menyebabkan kota Jakarta sangat rentan terhadap terjadinya banjir dan berkurangnya sumber air bersih. Berlandaskan teori arsitektur spatial design untuk menciptakan Hierarki ruang dan penataan ruang (Figure Ground) dan diikuti keterhubungan antar ruang (Linkage). Pendekatan desain perancangan merujuk pada Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD). Perancangan didasarkan pada panduan UN-HABITAT Global Public Space Toolkit dalam perencanaan ruang publik perkotaan dan sifat hidrologi pada 3 Public Space Designs for Flood.
Menerapkan metode rancang concept-based framework, perancangan ini menyatukan keberadaan ruang publik dengan elemen air untuk berperan aktif menjadi ruang publik dalam memitigasi banjir dan krisis air bersih. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mencegah kekurangan air bersih dan berpartisipasi dalam mengurangi akibat bencana banjir dengan tetap berperan sebagai ruang publik dengan fungsi menjadi ruang bagi masyarakat berekspresi dan berinteraksi di kota Jakarta.

The phenomenon of flooding and clean water crisis often occurs and is expected to continue to occur with the rise in sea level due to climate change. This threatens many big cities, including Jakarta. The rise in sea level is approaching 25 cm every year with minimal water catchment areas and excessive use of groundwater, making the city of Jakarta very vulnerable to flooding and reduced clean water sources. Based on the theory of spatial design architecture to create a hierarchy of space and spatial planning (Figure Ground) followed by connectivity between spaces (Linkage). The design approach refers to Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD). The design is based on the UN-HABITAT Global Public Space Toolkit guidelines in urban public space planning and hydrological properties in 3 Public Space Designs for Flooding.
Applying the concept-based framework design method, this design combines the existence of public space with water elements to play an active role as a public space in mitigating flooding and clean water crisis. This project aims to prevent clean water shortages and participate in reducing the effects of flood disasters while still acting as a public space with the function of being a space for people to express themselves and interact in the city of Jakarta.
