Abstract

Perumahan di lingkungan Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) merupakan aset penting yang menyediakan akomodasi bagi sivitas akademika ITS. Namun, pengelolaan perumahan ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti pendataan yang masih manual menggunakan spreadsheet. Pendataan yang masih manual dan kurangnya validasi data bisa berakibat pada kesulitan dalam pengoperasian dan memastikan integritas data. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dikembangkan aplikasi web myITS Housing yang memanfaatkan teknologi Next.js, Mapbox GL JS, dan AR.js.
Pada proses pengembangan aplikasi myITS Housing dilakukan pengembangan antarmuka pengguna menggunakan Next.js untuk menciptakan aplikasi yang responsif dan performa tinggi. Integrasi Mapbox GL JS memungkinkan visualisasi peta interaktif, sedangkan AR.js digunakan untuk menyediakan fitur augmented reality yang membantu pengguna dalam memvisualisasikan lokasi rumah secara nyata.
Evaluasi aplikasi dilakukan melalui berbagai skenario pengujian, termasuk uji fungsionalitas, uji visualisasi augmented reality, dan pengujian performa menggunakan Lighthouse. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik dan memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dalam mengelola aset perumahan di ITS. Pengujian performa Lighthouse menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat dioptimalkan lebih lanjut, khususnya pada fitur augmented reality.

The housing within the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) campus is a vital asset that provides accommodation for ITS academic members. However, managing this housing faces several challenges, such as manual data collection using spreadsheets. This manual process and the lack of data validation can lead to operational difficulties and issues with data integrity. To address these problems, the myITS Housing web application was developed utilizing Next.js, Mapbox GL JS, and AR.js technologies.
The development of the myITS Housing application involved creating a user interface with Next.js to ensure a responsive and high-performance application. The integration of Mapbox GL JS enables interactive map visualization, while AR.js is used to provide augmented reality features that help users visualize the actual location of houses.
The application was evaluated through various testing scenarios, including functionality tests, augmented reality visualization tests, and performance testing using Lighthouse. The test results indicate that the application functions well and meets the users' needs for managing housing assets at ITS. Lighthouse performance tests suggest that the application can be further optimized, particularly in the augmented reality features.
