Abstract
Kekuatan struktur kapal merupakan aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan untuk menunjang fungsi kapal itu sendiri. Kerusakan lambung kapal sering terjadi pada kecelakaan kapal, dan salah satu penyebabnya adalah kelelahan pada struktur lambung kapal. Struktur cangkang samping terdiri dari berbagai detail struktur yang biasanya rusak akibat tekanan gelombang tinggi. Konstruksi kapal harus dipasang secara akurat dan efisien untuk mencegah hilangnya kekuatan dan memastikan kapal dapat menahan beban. Misalnya memasang pelat kerah pada sambungan antara pengaku memanjang dengan rangka badan melintang pada struktur cangkang samping. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi berbagai bentuk desain collar plate dan cut-out sehingga menghasilkan pedoman pemilihan standar desain yang baik melalui analisis kerusakan lelah. Metode Elemen Hingga (FFM) digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kekuatan pelat potong dan kerah. Terdapat tiga variasi bentuk cut-out dan collar plate yang akan dianalisis untuk mengetahui bentuk mana yang terbaik. Pada tahap pertama, potongan dianalisis dengan pengaruh pengaku memanjang. Pada tahap kedua, hanya pelat kerah yang dianalisis. pada tahap ketiga, potongan dengan pelat kerah dianalisis. Penelitian ini akan fokus pada validasi hasil deformasi total, tegangan von Mises, dan tegangan aksial langsung. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, semua variasi pada tugas akhir ini, semua model memenuhi kekuatan luluh material. Kondisi model dapat memenuhi kriteria ketika nilai tegangan maksimum berada di bawah tegangan ijin. Dengan meninjau ketiga aspek yaitu: deformasi total, tegangan von Mises, dan tegangan aksial, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variasi terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah model cut-out 2 dan model pelat kerah 2. The strength of the ship's structure is an important aspect that needs to be considered to support the function of the ship itself. Ship hull damage often occurs in ship accidents, and one of the causes is fatigue in the ship's hull structure. The side shell structure consists of various structural details usually damaged by high wave pressure. Ship construction must be installed accurately and efficiently to prevent loss of strength and ensure the ship can withstand loads. For example, installing a collar plate at the connection between the longitudinal stiffener and the transverse web frame in the side shell structure. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate various forms of collar plate and cut-out designs to produce guidelines for selecting good design standards through fatigue damage analysis. Finite Element Method (FFM) was used in this study to analyze the strength of the cut and collar plate. There are three variations of cut-out and collar plate shapes which will be analyzed to find out which shape is the best. In the first stage, the cut-out with the influence of longitudinal stiffeners is analyzed. In the second stage, only the collar plate was analyzed. in the third stage, the cut-out with the collar plate was analyzed. This research will focus on validating the results of total deformation, von Mises stress, and direct axial stress. Based on the analysis results, all variations in this final project, all models meet the yield strength of the material. The model condition can meet the criteria when the maximum stress value is below the allowable stress. By reviewing the three aspects, namely: total deformation, von Mises stress, and axial stress, it can be concluded that the best variations in this study are cut-out model 2 and collar plate model 2.
