Abstract

Industri otomotif merupakan salah satu sektor utama dalam perekonomian global. Di Indonesia, industri otomotif menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam sektor manufaktur yang
disebabkan oleh banyaknya permintaan kepada perusahaan otomotif. PT ADM merupakan salah satu industri otomotif terbesar di Indonesia dengan kapasitas produksi 530.000-unit tiap tahunnya. Pada saat ini di Assembling Plant, masih terdapat beberapa pekerjaan yang dilakukan secara manual sehingga menyebabkan kinerja yang kurang optimal, salah satunya yaitu proses pemasangan Cap Fr Hub Grease pada knuckle. Sehingga direncanakan dilakukan pembuatan
mesin press untuk pemasangan Cap Fr Hub Grease. Pada penelitian ini penulis membahas tentang desain dan analisa frame mesin press Cap Fr Hub Grease. Penelitian ini hanya meneliti tentang frame pada mesin press Cap Fr Hub Grease. Proses pembuatan desain frame akan dibuat menggunakan software 3D model CAD, dan menggunakan Ansys Workbench sebagai analisis simulasi. Desain frame dilakukan analisa menggunakan simulasi static structural. Setelah dilakukan simulasi didapatkan beberapa poin yaitu von misses stress dan directional deformation. Didapatkan nilai tegangan maksimal dan deformasi maksimal yang berbeda-beda tiap variasi desain. Pada simulasi ini frame akan diberikan pembebanan maksimal 9800 N dengan variasi ketebalan frame yang berbeda-beda. Tegangan maksimal dan deformasi tertinggi terjadi pada variasi tebal 2,3mm, tetapi tegangan maksimal yang keluar tidak melebihi batas yield stress sehingga frame dinyatakan aman.===================================================================================================================
The automotive industry is one of the main sectors in the global economy. In Indonesia, the automotive industry is a significant pillar in the manufacturing sector due to the high demand for automotive companies. PT ADM is one of the largest automotive industries in Indonesia, with a production capacity of 530,000 units per year. Currently, in the Assembling Plant, some tasks are still performed manually, leading to less than optimal performance. One such task is the installation of the Cap Fr Hub Grease on the knuckle. Therefore, it is planned to develop a press machine for installing the Cap Fr Hub Grease. This research discusses the design and analysis of the frame for the Cap Fr Hub Grease press machine. The study focuses solely on the frame of the Cap Fr Hub Grease press machine. The frame design process will be carried out using 3D model CAD software and analyzed using Ansys Workbench for simulation. The frame design will undergo static structural simulation analysis. From the simulation, several points were obtained, including von Mises stress and directional deformation. The maximum stress and maximum deformation values vary for each design variation. In this simulation, the frame will be subjected to a maximum load of 9800 N with different frame thickness variations. The maximum stress and highest deformation occur at a thickness of 2.3 mm, but the maximum stress does not exceed the yield stress limit, indicating that the frame is safe.
