Abstract

Alun-alun Ponorogo merupakan salah satu ruang terbuka publik di Kabupaten Ponorogo yang telah dimanfaatkan oleh seluruh masyarakat untuk melakukan banyak aktivitas serta memilliki daya tarik sebagai tempat rekreasi, berolahraga, serta kegiatan sosial ekonomi. Letaknya yang strategis berada di pusat kota memiliki potensi untuk banyak wisata datang berkunjung di alun-alun. Namun, kondisi di lapangan masih terdapat permasalahan seperti belum adanya fasilitas untuk kaum difabel, permasalahan tempat parkir yang kurang memadai, pedagang kaki lima yang tidak tertata, tempat yang kumuh karena permasalahan sampah, dan lain sebagainya. Hal tersebut tidak selaras pada teori inklusivitas dan Project for Public Space. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan arahan penataan Alun-alun Ponorogo untuk menciptakan ruang publik yang inklusif. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada tiga sasaran untuk mencapai tujuan. Sasaran pertama, menentukan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penataan ruang publik inklusif dengan metode analisis delphi kepada pemerintah, akademisi, dan paguyuban pedagang kaki lima. Selanjutnya faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penataan ruang publik inklusif dilakukan penilaian (skoring) untuk mendapatkan identifikasi persepsi pengguna terhadap ruang publik yang inklusif. Penilaian pada sasaran kedua ini melibatkan 100 responden yakni pengguna atau masyarakat yang sehari-hari berkunjung di Alun-alun Ponorogo. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian terhadap keseluruhan faktor yang berpengaruh didapati persentase nilai untuk akses fisik yaitu 61%, akses sosial yaitu 66%, akses ke aktivitas 72%, dan akses informasi, diskusi, dan komunikasi yaitu 55%. Selanjutnya, peneliti merumuskan arahan penataan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu analisis data berdasarkan pendekatan komparasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh, kondisi eksisting/hasil analisis, pedoman kebijakan, dan best practice terkait penataan ruang terbuka publik yang inklusif. Luaran dari penelitian ini yaitu arahan penataan ruang terbuka yang inklusif di Alun-alun Ponorogo.

Alun-alun Ponorogo is one of the public open spaces in Ponorogo Regency that is used by the entire community for various activities and is an attractive place for recreation, sports, and socio-economic activities. Its strategic location in the city center has the potential to attract many tourists. However, there are still problems in the area, such as the lack of facilities for people with disabilities, inadequate parking, unorganized street vendors, slums due to waste issues, and so on. This is not in line with the theory of inclusivity and the Project for Public Space. Therefore, this study aims to formulate directions for the arrangement of Alun-alun Ponorogo to create an inclusive public space. This research focuses on three objectives to achieve this goal. The first objective is to determine the factors that affect the arrangement of inclusive public space using the Delphi analysis method on the government, academics, and street vendor associations. Additionally, the factors that influence the design of inclusive public spaces will be evaluated to identify users' perceptions of inclusive public spaces. The assessment of this second objective involves 100 respondents, namely users or people who visit Alun-alun Ponorogo daily. Based on the results of the assessment of all influencing factors, it was found that the percentage of values for physical access was 61%, social access was 66%, access to activities was 72%, and access to information, discussion, and communication was 55%. Furthermore, the researcher formulated the direction of structuring using a descriptive method, namely data analysis based on a comparative approach of influencing factors, existing conditions/analysis results, policy guidelines, and best practices related to the structuring of inclusive public open spaces. The output of this study is the direction for inclusive open space design in Alun-alun Ponorogo.
