Abstract

Ekowisata adalah perjalanan wisata yang mengutamakan pelestarian lingkungan dan kesejahteraan penduduk setempat melalui pendidikan, partisipasi masyarakat, dan dukungan konservasi. Kabupaten Blitar memiliki potensi besar untuk mengembangkan ekowisata, terutama di Telaga Blumbang Gede, yang menawarkan keindahan alam dan keragaman ekosistem. Telaga ini terletak di Desa Soso, Kecamatan Gandusari, dan termasuk dalam kawasan lindung sesuai dengan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kabupaten Blitar. Potensi Telaga Blumbang Gede meliputi keindahan alam, keanekaragaman ekosistem, dan aksesibilitas yang baik. Namun, terdapat permasalahan seperti pengelolaan limbah, infrastruktur yang belum memadai, dan ketidakjelasan pengelolaan. Melalui pendekatan ekowisata, pengembangan pariwisata di kawasan ini diharapkan dapat melestarikan lingkungan, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan wisatawan mengenai pentingnya konservasi, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik Kawasan Telaga Blumbang Gede berdasarkan prinsip ekowisata, mengidentifikasi prioritas terhadap faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam pengembangan ekowisata, dan juga merumuskan arahan pengembangan ekowisata di Kawasan Telaga Blumbang Gede. Data-data yang diperlukan didapatkan dari in-depth interview, observasi, survei intansi, dan juga studi literatur. Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa Content Aanalysis (CA) dan juga menggunakan Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). Dari hasil analisis didapatkan 20 karakteristik Kawasan Telaga Blumbang Gede. Konservasi menjadi prioritas utama dalam pengembangan ekowisata di Telaga Blumbang Gede untuk menjaga kualitas dan ketersediaan air, mencegah erosi, serta mempertahankan ekosistem yang seimbang. Telaga Blumbang Gede diarahkan untuk menjadi destinasi ekowisata yang berkelanjutan dengan fokus utama pada konservasi alam, pengembangan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan, dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat.

Ecotourism is a form of tourism that prioritizes environmental preservation and the well-being of local communities through education, community participation, and conservation support. Blitar Regency has significant potential to develop ecotourism, particularly at Telaga Blumbang Gede, which offers natural beauty and diverse ecosystems. This lake is located in Soso Village, Gandusari District, and is included in the protected area according to the Spatial Planning of Blitar Regency. The potential of Telaga Blumbang Gede includes natural beauty, ecosystem diversity, and good accessibility. However, there are issues such as waste management, inadequate infrastructure, and unclear management responsibilities. Through the ecotourism approach, tourism development in this area is expected to preserve the environment, raise awareness among the community and tourists about the importance of conservation, and improve the local community's economic well-being. This research focuses on identifying the characteristics of Telaga Blumbang Gede based on ecotourism principles, prioritizing factors influencing ecotourism development, and formulating guidelines for ecotourism development in Telaga Blumbang Gede. The required data were obtained from in-depth interviews, observations, agency surveys, and literature studies. The analysis methods used include Content Analysis (CA) and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The analysis results identified 20 characteristics of Telaga Blumbang Gede. Conservation is the top priority in the development of ecotourism at Telaga Blumbang Gede to maintain water quality and availability, prevent erosion, and preserve a balanced ecosystem. Telaga Blumbang Gede is directed to become a sustainable ecotourism destination with a primary focus on nature conservation, sustainable tourism development, and increased community participation.
