Abstract

Arsitektur ekologi adalah penciptaan lingkungan yang mengonsumsi lebih sedikit dan menghasilkan lebih banyak kekayaan alam. Oleh sebab itu, agar menuju kondisi ini, desain diproses dengan memperhatikan aspek iklim, rantai material, dan umur bahan bangunan.. Jika melihat arsitektur ekologi dari kondisi lingkungan di Bali, sering terjadi tindakan alih fungsi lahan pertanian yang mengacam keberadaan subak sebagai kebudayaan di Bali. Pariwisata yang meningkat di Bali, tidak berjalan lurus dengan kondisi persawahan, sehingga pada perancangan ini memiliki konsep menyatukan antara subak dan pariwisata dengan membuat sebuah ekowisata berbasis pusat edukasi subak. Pada perancangan ini menggunakan metode rancang regionalisme untuk menciptakan bangunan yang bersifat abadi, melebur dan menyatukan elemen-elemen lama dan baru.Kerangka berpikir yang digunakan adalah force based framework yang mengacu pada faktor di luar bangunan. Arsitektur tropis dan Arsitektur Bali digunakan sebagai teori pendukung dari teori Arsitektur Ekologi. Bentuk bangunan pada perancangan ini terinspirasi dari bentuk bangunan tradisional Bali, yaitu jineng. Konsep utama dari perancangan ini adalah “A Place That Synergizes Local Culture, Nature, And Humanity With Sustainable Design And Lifestyle”, untuk menciptakan interaksi antara petani dan pengunjung, pengunjung dapat menikmati pertujukan kesenian subak, dengan keindahan alam yang mendukung. Beberapa fasilitas disajikan dengan kategori edukasi dan pariwisata. Penerapan arsitektur ekologi pada rancangan dicapai dengan desain seperti, penggunaan material alam dan lokal, strategi cut and fill dan struktur panggung, desain mengikuti karakteristik asli kontur dan alam sekitar, penerapan kolam refleksi, system rain water harvestin , dan strategi sustainable lifestyle serta trash system. Desain pusat edukasi subak ini akan mampu menciptakan ketertarikan dan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga persawahan khususnya budaya subak di Bali.

Ecological architecture is the creation of an environment that consumes less and produces more natural resources. To achieve this, the design is processed by considering aspects of climate, material chains, and the lifespan of building materials. Looking at ecological architecture from the perspective of Bali’s environmental conditions, there are often acts of agricultural land conversion that threaten the existence of subak as a cultural element in Bali. The increasing tourism in Bali does not align with the preservation of the rice fields, so this design aims to unite subak and tourism by creating an ecotourism center based on subak education. This design employs a regionalism design method to create timeless buildings that merge and unite old and new elements. The framework of thought used is a force-based framework that considers factors outside the building. Tropical architecture and Balinese architecture serve as supporting theories for the theory of Ecological Architecture. The shape of the building in this design is inspired by traditional Balinese structures, specifically jineng. The main concept of this design is "A Place That Synergizes Local Culture, Nature, And Humanity With Sustainable Design And Lifestyle," intended to create interactions between farmers and visitors. Visitors can enjoy subak art performances amidst the supporting natural beauty. Several facilities are presented in educational and tourism categories. The application of ecological architecture in the design is achieved through the use of natural and local materials, cut and fill strategies, stage structures, designs that follow the original characteristics of the contour and surrounding nature, the application of reflection pools, rainwater harvesting systems, and sustainable lifestyle and waste management strategies. The design of this subak education center aims to generate public interest and awareness of the importance of preserving rice fields, particularly the subak culture in Bali.
