Abstract

Rancangan didasarkan pada penurunan kualitas lingkungan yang diperburuk dengan adanya bencana banjir tahunan yang terjadi di Kampung Nelayan Tambak Lorok Semarang. Hal ini menimbulkan permasalahan permukiman kumuh karena penduduk memilih untuk menetap secara permanen. Pada rancangan ini akan merespon permasalahan tersebut dengan memperhatikan faktor keamanan dan kenyamanan penduduk supaya aktivitas yang menunjang kehidupannya dapat terus berlangsung.
Fokus utama dalam rancangan yaitu mengimplementasikan aquatecture pada permukiman penduduk sebagai desain yang adaptif untuk menyediakan keamanan dan kenyamanan. Aquatecture menjadi suatu konsep rancangan yang relevan dalam upaya mengatasi bencana banjir yang disebabkan oleh air. Kemudian rancangan juga menghadirkan bangunan infrastruktur untuk menunjang aktivitas penduduknya. Untuk mendukung hal ini, pendekatan desain tertuju pada adaptive housing sebagai pertimbangan rancangan yang merespon adaptasi penghuni dengan kondisi lingkungannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam merancang yaitu force-based framework dengan memanfaatkan peluang dan batasan pada konteks, serta metode pendukung yaitu scenario-buffered architecture untuk mencapai tujuan rancang.
Rancangan akan mengimplementasikan keseimbangan antara iklim, lingkungan, dan manusia. Dari pengimplementasian tersebut, aquatecture yang diharapkan dapat terintegrasi dengan alam maupun lingkungan dan bangunan infrastruktur dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat.

The design is based on the decrease in environmental quality that is exacerbated by the annual flood disaster that occurs in the Tambak Lorok Fisherman Village in Semarang. This caused the problem of slums because residents chose to settle permanently. This design will respond to these problems by taking into the consideration of the safety and comfort factors of the residents so that the activities that support their lives can be continued.
The main focus in the design is to implement aquatecture in the settlement as an adaptive design to provide safety and comfort. Aquatecture is a relevant design concept in an effort to overcome flood disasters caused by water. Then the design also provides infrastructure buildings to support the activities of its residents. To support this, the design approach is focused on adaptive housing as a design consideration that responds to the adaptation of residents to their environment conditions. The method used in the design is a force-based framework by optimising opportunities and constraints in the context, and the supporting method is scenario-buffered architecture to achieve the design goals.
The design will implement a balance between climate, environment, and people. From the implementation, aquatecture is expected to be integrated with nature and the environment and infrastructure buildings can contribute to improving the quality of life of the community.
